Wow. I said I'd make an announcement as son as I got a working Internet connection buuuuuuut it kinda slipped lol. Anyway, here goes.

As of the beginning of October, this game has once again started being in active development. That's because this game is no longer just an eternity project of mine.
It now has a team of three working on it! I now have two talented artist with me who volunteered to join the project. One of them has finished art school and is currently studying with me in a game school. The other one is still on her final year in art school  but she has experience with the RPG Maker engines. And both of them really like horror. :D
Now there's also enough motivation to actually work on the game. As I'm studying in a game school I need stuff for my portfolio and what'd be better for it than a complete game? :D As there are also at least two people counting on me to finish the game, I'll definitely continue making this game.

So what I'm saying is... the game has now two dedicated artists and it's definitely still getting made.
Feel free to look forward to it. :3

Here's something to keep you interested.: ShowHide

Also, the name of the game has now been changed to Sunrise. To the Dawn was simply too similar to To the Moon and the word "dawn" is kinda overused in similar contexts.

Welcome! / Not gonna be active for a while
October 05, 2014, 06:55:16 am
Yo.

You might have noticed already but I haven't really been active here lately.
There's a reason for that.

It's not long ago that I moved on my own, so my Internet connection has just been through my cell phone.
Well, it just so happens that my wallet and phone got stolen last Monday. :)

So, as I don't have an Internet connection at home anymore for a while, pretty much the only times I can get to the Internet are at school or at the weekends in the library. And my priority is on important stuff like our school's intranet, my bank account, announcements on different important Facebook groups and so on, so... coming here isn't right now really high on my list of priorities. :D

But worry not! As soon as I get a proper Internet connection, I'll once again be active! :)

PS. Once I get the connection, I have something to announce about my project, To The Dawn. if anyone still remembers it lol xd

Vegetarians...? (then again, why would you even put meat in ice cream)

I said "water, milk or coffee". If you're vegan, add water or coffee instead of milk. What about this was hard to understand? :D

Time to resurrect this thread!

I think ever since I was 11 years old I've really liked cooking. It's not something I'd want to make a career of, but it's just something I really enjoy. Mostly because the results are often food. Food = good.

One thing I make pretty often is a simple, small cake in the microwave. I usually just improvise it on the fly, but here's something of a recipe for it. It's very customizable and very delicious.

  • a microwave-safe bowl

  • a (big?) splash of oil

  • about 0.5 dl (50 ml) of sugar (adjust to taste)

  • an egg / an egg white / one or two egg yolks

  • about 1.5-2 dl (150-200 ml) of plain flour

  • (0.5 dl of flaked oats (the stuff you make porridge of))

  • 0.5-1.5 tsp of baking powder (or half the amount of baking soda)

  • 1-3 tbsp of milk / water / coffee / chocolate milk / fruit juice

  • (2 tsp of apple sauce, mashed fruit or your favorite jam or jelly)

  • (vanilla to taste)

  • (a bit of cocoa powder)

  • (a lot of cocoa drink mix)

  • (cinnamon or cardamom)

  • (whatever the fuck you can think of)

Mix sugar, oil and egg in the bowl, add dry ingredients and adjust the consistency with the other liquid ingredients. Put the bowl with the batter into the microwave and cook for 2.5-3 min on full blast. Let it cool before eating.

Here are how you can customize it:

-if you add less egg, add more liquid
-if you add apple sauce, mashed fruit, jelly or jam, add less liquid and sugar
-if you add cocoa powder, add a bit more sugar
-if you add cocoa drink mix, add less sugar
-if you add the flaked oats, add less flour
-feel free to use any spices that work with sweet things
-use your fucking imagination

This is a recipe you just have to experiment with to find something that works and what you like. Every time you make one, it's different from the last.

And then there's the incredibly simple banana ice cream. It's a lot cheaper than "real" ice cream and it's healthier as well! It's also suitable for vegans and those on a raw-food diet.

Take bananas that are really ripe. One banana makes one small serving, two bananas make one huge serving. Slice the bananas, put to a freezer bag and freeze so that the slices don't overlap too much. Once they're frozen, put them to a food processor with a small splash of water, milk or coffee and optionally some cocoa powder, vanilla or other frozen fruits or berries, and process until it forms something akin to soft-serve. It might take a while and you might have to mix it up a bit with a spatula. If you don't want it to be like soft-serve, just put the ice cream to a freezer and let it firm up more.

Chat / A Same-Sex Wedding in Russia!

You can read about it here!

Long story short, the Russian officials had no choice but to allow two women to get married together because one of them had once been male and was legally still recognized as such so legally they were considered a heterosexual couple.

I just love it when discriminating laws like this can be used against each other. :D

Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling the driver for it?

Is it an external mouse or the touchpad? If external; wired or with wire? brand? model? have you changed anything significant at all lately (even if it had nothing to do with the mouse?) Are you running Windows or other OS?

This mouse is just a pluck-and-play mouse so I don't think it has a driver. It's a wired external mouse. It's made by Microsoft but I have no idea of its model. I haven't changed anything significant at all lately. I'm running Windows 7.

Have you checked the mouse settings? Maybe that options for single-click is on.

if it's really the hardware, first try wnother mouse to make sure before you buy a new one.

I checked the mouse settings and there is no option like that. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by that though.

I'll see if I have a spare mouse here somewhere.
