Yeah, it works now, AND it consumes HP rather than SP, but it still isn't usable unless I have 5 SP (the cost of the skill).

Moar errors!

The first is that my blood mage character doesn't consume HP for his spells, just SP.

And when he DOES use one of his skills I get this error:




Any ideas?

Jesus W, that didn't take long at all!


However, now I have an error that will happen anytime ANYONE uses ANY skill.


Heres the line in question: "if battler.wcw_bloodmage_applies?"

Syntax error?

Yep I get the same error as cid with the 1.7.1 version.

The stable version I was using has all of a sudden started freaking out whenever an enemy uses skills. 133: NoMethodError Undefined Method 'sp_cost' for nil:NilClass

This is the line: "sp = battler.sp < @skill.sp_cost ? @skill.sp_cost : battler.sp"


It kinda popped up at random  :^_^':

Ok, I've released a new demo, it's most of the second chapter. I've also included a save file that starts you off at the end of chapter one.

I originally had a number of problems with the tons of addons, and I couldn't figure out which of the addons was causing them, so I just made them separate scripts :D

I'm using blizzards caterpillar script and its working well enough for me.

Honestly, my favorite weapon for any main character is the sword, it's an average all around useful weapon. And typically that's what I look for in any main character.

Cliche, I know. But even so, in the end, the weapon a character uses shouldn't have a noticeable impact on your game unless it plays a large part in your plot.

Yeah, work has been slow recently, as I've been catching up on some of my DS games I've missed out on (and playing fable 2 now that they patched it :D). I'm just starting to get into the groove again.

EDIT: Not to mention only having 1 free day in the week, thanks to my... rigorous school and work schedule.

Thanks for the tips! Indeed, if there is an area of RMXP I am lacking, it is in the mapping department.


Also, about the tint, it's sort of meant to be a disco effect where it changes colours every couple seconds. It sort of makes sense in game. Sort of.

Aww don't be hatin' on the weighted companion orb.

EDIT: I've fixed it so that pushing it all the way will give you a diadu, rather than it be required to pass through the door.
