Is it possible to add this as something you can view in the menu? I really like this script it seems simple enough for a noob like me to use. I might add it once I flesh out my game some more but after I get all the effects from the scripts I am using just right. =)

I also tried adding your Modify Max Amount script but I got an error with that also I believe. Thank you for helping me with this =).


Also I am just testing scripts out so that's why there isn't much done just yet.

Thanks for this great script =). Works perfectly in the demo you provide but I cant seem to get it to work just right with mine yet. This error keeps coming up.

Script 'Storage System' line 53: NoMethodError Occured
undefined method 'item_number' for 1:Fixnum

Is it possible that I placed the script in the wrong place. I have under all Blizzard's scripts. It does the same thing whether its above or below his scripts. Any advice?

Oh, that's ok then =). I used the tutorial that you provided in that link. Is doing it with the script much easier? Could you maybe post a screenshot of how it would be written? I still don't know enough to tinker too much on my own fully. Thank you though either way.

I promise this is the last question.Thank you for everything so far but this possibility struck my curiosity and was wondering if it is actually do-able. I posted it in the script request but wasnt sure if you took a look yet. =).

Summary
I am just looking to find out if an add-on to the stat gaining system is plausable.

Features Desired

  • Skill gain while attacking or after battle based on some sort of stat requirement.

  • Like if I have 50 strength I have a 20% chance to gain a specific skill while attacking.

Sorry about that. I should've looked through the forums a little more. Thank you =)

Edit: So far everything worked but I couldn't get the whole if your character moves away from the enemy it goes back to what it was doing in page 1. I was wondering if you did make a demo showing how that it's done. Thank you for all your help so far =).

Thanks =). I just noticed that command after I posted this up and tested it out. Though I do have one more question. Is it possible to make it so the monster starts chasing after you when you are so many step near it?

Thank you guys =). So far RMXP is pretty good. I like it much more than I do VX. The whole Ruby scripting has been giving me headaches but when I get things to work it makes it all worthwhile. Hopefully one day I can come up with my own script that isnt on here and post up here.

I know how to create an event where the monster is visible on the map and then as you touch it you battle what I dont know how to do is make it disappear then reappear when the map is changed. I have been messing around with different possibilities but nothing comes up the way I want. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what I could do.

I don't always post on these welcome spots but I decided since I am going to be heavily drowning myself with RMXP and taking scripts from here I might as well. So hi all. I am pretty noob to  RMXP and RMVX but have had plenty experience with RM2k/2k3 which doesnt help all too much being that the newer ones have Ruby and a different mapping style. Anyways, I plan to be around for a while so please don't get too crazy if I post noob questions when I cant find answers through searching =).

Resource Requests / [RMXP][Request] Mack Tilesets

I've been searching around for a mack tileset for RMXP but from what I understand he himself took it down for whatever reason. I was wondering if anyone has those that he had up before or if someone has put together enough sets to replace the RTP with it. I used to use Mack chipsets with rm2k a long time ago and I still prefer them over what the RTP has to offer. If anyone can help me out with this that would be great. Thanks in advanced =).

Thank you =). Still curious as to whether or not the level and exp in the status and main menu can be disabled. If not then that's ok. I can find some other use for it. I want to try to make use of the RO job/skill system you have up. So is it then possible to change it so that the exp goes fully to the job exp while at the same time showing up in the menu instead of levels. Sorry for all the noobish questions.

Is it possible to disable where it shows exp and levels plus exp gains at the end of battle?
