I meant that your script had it on 3 and it should be around 112 if you used Blizz's Demo Charsets.

Hm... I can't testplay your game for some reason... But I think I know how to fix it...

Line 133 of Part 1 in your script is...
ACTOR_SPRITE_Y_OFFSET = 3

Make it 112 and I think it should work if you followed Blizz's base for sword attack sprite.

Hi!

I was wondering if anyone knows or could script a script that whenever a character attacks, it consumes a bit of his MP.  And it would be great if it's compatible with Blizz-ABS :P

Okay I got it to work... sorta...

I had to give the enemies with magic the 'action' attribute so that they would attack.  And also, they need to have 2 magic spells along with attack or else they just stand there.

Exploding skills work fine for me... Hm...

Well one problem I have is that the enemies don't use their magic I gave them.
I made the default AI '00010101'.  Could that be the problem???

I agree with what you said about Seles' hair.  I couldn't get the right colors to match before so I just stuck with this.  I'll redo it later ^_^

Hiya Blizz!

Love the script :P

Was wondering if it is possible to achieve some of these things...

Spoiler: ShowHide

A user-controlled projectile skill.  (so the projectile goes the same direction the player is facing)

HUDs for all the characters in the party (3 people for my game)

Not having a projectile shoot right when the button is pressed.  (so it can appear to be charged up)

An ally that fights but is not considered part of your party.  (Basically a critter that only attacks enemies)



Mmm that's all that I can think of right now that I think would be cool additions to the system...

Again, great job on this script and can't wait for V2.0

Here are some Frankensprites I did in the past couple of days.  They're all protagonists in my game that will use Blizz-ABS.  Please comment! :D

Elven Archer: ShowHide

This is a Frankensprited version of Noble-2 with Hunter-2 color hair and a minor recolor of clothes.

He's the main protagonist of my game.  He's an elven archer but currently... has no name  :P


Seles: ShowHide

Fighter-8 with recolored hair.  Her name is Seles and is a weapon master... dunno what else to say about her for now.


Mage: ShowHide

Okay this is a combo of... Mage-6, Mage-8, and Noble-8.  She also has no name for now but she has an energetic personality and loves to say "Chyea".

Making her attack sprite for Blizz-ABS took me forever because I kept messing up >.>


Action Sprites: ShowHide


Archer using a bow.  (didn't sprite the bow part yet)


Seles swinging her weapon (didn't sprite the weapon yet)



Mage using a magic ball thing to attack enemies.  (Flail type weapon :P)

Flair Hit Range Guide: ShowHide



Guide that shows where to place your character and weapon spritesets when using a flail-type weapon in Blizz-ABS.  The facing down ones seem kinda off because of the offset in the script.

I'm starting to learn how to sprite by learning Frankenspriting for now.  Want me to post the sprites I made that I'm gonna use for my game with Blizz-ABS?

Hello everyone here at CP!

I've been browsing here for awhile now because I <3 Blizz-ABS and told myself to join the forum when the newest version comes out.

Can't wait to meet everyone! (especially Master-Scriptor Blizz)
