UPDATE! Version 4.0 is here! New battle system and more!

After the game jam that this entry was made for was deleted/removed/banned due to unfortunate circumstances (which had to do with some AI scam from the host), I have decided to make an update for this game that addresses some important feedback as well as adding a lot more customizations that I couldn't before with the jam's restrictions, but still keeping the RTP spirit.

4.0 Changelog:

- Battle System changed from ATB to OTB. (Octopath Traveler style)

- Guard command no longer allows player to act faster next turn.

- Enemies healthbar are now hidden.

- Late game bosses can now act twice per turn.

- Item: Honey Jar, now grants +3 boost points instead of +2.

- Zithrel's skill "Slumber" now has a cooldown of 6 turns. Sleep duration reduced from 5 turns to 3 turns.

- Graphics update: Water reflections added, lighting effects on intro maps and town indoor maps have been added, minor weather effects added to town and forest maps, small animals (butterflies, birds, and dragonflies) now roam around town and forest areas.

- New Windowskin

- New fonts

- New icons

- New title screen

Hello, sorry I keep asking for scripts. I promise i'll learn how to do it myself one of these days.

Anyways, I have a bit of an odd request. I am looking for a script/CBS that's functionally similar to the default battle system in XP, just with you only able to select one party member to fight during your turn instead of all of them attacking sequentially during your turn. I also would prefer if the remaining members were able to do a support move during the turn like using an item or raising the parties defense during the next enemy move, but not doing damage. Also, maybe choosing an attacker could be skipped by pressing escape or backspace or something? So all the party members can use a support turn/dont attack. Put simply, I would like to have one party member be the attacking phase and the other three be the support phase.

Notable scripts i'm using are the Timed Hit Add-On by Zephren (very old and a bit clunky but it works), Blizz-ABS (ONLY FOR MOVEMENT ENHANCES, i gutted the battle stuff from it and am just using the default battle system) and some other various scripts that wouldnt be really important to keep in mind (like an anti-lag one that only affects the overworld)

If this is too in-depth for a script request, I can try and find a dedicated scripter to help me with this on my project, but I figured i'd ask here! id be very appreciative : )

(ALSO: if you are willing to make it, i might need to do some direct message correspondence so we can iron out what the support phase actually does. im a bit unsure of what i should be adding there to make it worthwhile)

Introduction:
Restoring Falmay was originally made for a certain RTP game jam. The game is now updated with more customizations, but still keeping the RTP spirit that it was originally aimed for.

Story:

World of Vyen, Year 54 A.R. (Arcane Renaissance). In the mystical fairy kingdom of Falmay, a dark corruption has begun to spread, threatening the nature and beauty that has sustained the land for centuries. Claire, a young and courageous fairy priestess, feels the call to protect her home. She embarks on a perilous journey to cleanse Falmay of this vile force. Claire and her friends must restore the kingdom to its former glory before the corruption consumes everything they hold dear.  Will they be able to save Falmay, or will the kingdom fall into darkness forever?
