Anybody want to accept this?

By default if you tick an element resistance box for equipment it gives you +50% resistance to the element. What I want is a better resistance set-up for equipment.
Here's what I want:

  • Being able to set specific percentages, (eg. 10%, 30% etc.), including negative values for equipment (all types of equipment excluding weapons)
  • The total resistance is all of the equipment together, so if I have a shield that gives 20% fire resistance and an accessory that gives 10% I get a total of 30% fire resistance.
  • Finally, I want to be able to have multiple resistances on a single piece of equipment.

How can Kingdom Hearts 3D not be mentioned here yet :wacko: I'd like to see more about this game but there's not much about it at all :(
Little Rant: ShowHide

I love the KH games but it's incredibly annoying that they keep releasing the games on different consoles... So far I played 4 of games, planning on getting Re:Coded for the DS but I probably won't get a PSP just so I can play Birth by Sleep, but if I want to play this one I need a 3DS. They really need to stop changing the console.


Anyway, this new Xbox looks alright, about time they made a quieter version.

That's all I have to say for now.

A nice little option would be a choice to enable or disable to damage pop-ups. I know there was a way by editing the script a tiny bit but it would be easier, or at least a small description on how to do it... I can't find how in the original topic anymore >.<

EDIT: Actually, just one other thing in the manual. Chapter 5.5.2 Input Script Reference, every $game_system.ACTION_button = true/false has enables or disables the attack button beside it, I don't think that's right  :huh:

I did try to get it to match, I used the color picker to take the color from the RTP shadow tile so I don't know why it didn't come out the same :/ Probably could've used a bit more opacity though.

You could just use a lighter color if you wanted :P And what do you default? There's one square shadow tile in the default tilesets :???:

Creating Shadow Tilesets




Introduction

This started with G_G on msn. He was trying to make a shadow for every object on a map and couldn't get so I helped and this is the result. You can look at some examples under the tutorial of this in use.


Tutorial

Helpful Hint: ShowHide

Whewn you create your new file, before copying the image, set up a 32 X 32 grip with option 'Snap to Grid' selected. This will help when positioning the tileset.

This tutorial is done with Gimp so if you're using there will most likely be some differences.
First, pick a tileset, I'm using the dark space tileset, and open it in Gimp. Now select the Rectangle Select tool and select the whole tileset (Ctrl + A) then copy it (Ctrl + C). Open a new file with the same width and double the height of the tileset you're using and paste your tileset in, making sure it's positioned at the very top. Create a new layer and paste the tileset into the file again, this making sure it's positioned perfectly under the first one.

In the toolbox you have 2 color blocks (or whatever you want to call them :P ) Click on them set both their HTML notations to 635c74. Now select the second layer, select the tiles in it and then go to the color menu, select Map then Gradient Map. This should have changed the bottom tiles to shadows.

Finally you need opacity. Go to Layer, select Transparency and pick Color to Alpha... Click OK on the dialog that appears and you're done.

Anyway, this sounds like a great idea, hope it goes well :)

EDIT: Also, how about ol FBI makes an appearance. I was looking through the old sections of the News/Suggestion board and found that old topic 'FBI' made. Maybe make some nice little side quest out of it or something, I dunno, just a suggestion :ninja:
