Title: Just when you thought FOX News couldn't get any dumber...

And the original video, which has an extra segment at the beginning:

(although I will admit, that extra segment is very weird)

You do realize the segment was supposed to be a joke, right?  (Although I don't think it was funny at all)

I am not even talking about the extra segment, I am talking about some dumb old man making fun of all bronies over hogwash that is not even true. I just felt the need to comment on the extra segment, though that is not my complaint here. Or are you saying, that the whole thing, including the jab at bronies, is a joke? If that was, then I can safely say that Fox successfully ruined their image over the years, to the point that they will always look dumb, joking or not.

You are up in arms over them making fun of a TV show, like that's the worst thing they've ever done.  I get that it's personal, but now you are trying to argue that it significantly affects other people, which is just not true.

Lololol, you've successfully put words in another person's mouth. No surprise there.

I want you to go back and tell me where I said that this affects other people, before I even comment on the rest of your post.

Right there.  It's okay though, I read all your posts thoroughly, because I'm not some pompous fool who thinks he is too good to communicate reasonably with other people.  But neither are you, right?

I am sorry, I do not see how Fox affecting themselves is affecting other people besides those in Fox. Also, when I said that, I meant for tons of stuff before this. That statement had nothing to do with the jab at bronies. Also, no need to flame; go find another topic to do so in.

Although it hardly represents any type of majority, I am sure there are cases. I agree that to be a "brony" does not mean your some jobless wonder who sits in his parents' basement at the age of 35, but also realize that it was said in the context of a supposed-to-be funny segment.

I didn't watch the extra segment, so it wasn't about that.

Their public image is hardly crushed because they made fun of something that interests you personally. Although their ratings may not be quite as high as they were a few years ago, they are still a respected and popular news source for much of the world, contrary to your personal opinion that they "look dumb".

Most adults would agree that a grown man obsessing over MLP is a bit strange. Before you get all outraged and defensive, I am not saying that you are obsessed with MLP. And to say that your post is not about the insult to MLP is a not true. If they are the inept and stupid network you believe they are, surely you could have posted something before now that dealt with something a little more substantial than a jab at MLP in a light-hearted segment.

I didn't flame at all, but then again, I know you wouldn't be putting words into someone else's mouth, so I'll assume that was directed at either yourself or nobody in particular.

Taking another trip back to the quotemobile:

Notice you use an 'If - then' structure in your second statement.  The 'then' half of the statement refers to Fox ruining their image.  The 'if' half refers to 'that', and we find from the previous statement that 'that' is the possibility of the whole segment being a joke.  Therefore, you are directly linking the possibility of the segment being a joke to Fox News ruining their image.  You did not include the vague 'tons of stuff before this' from you last post.  The statement I quoted was about exactly one thing - the jab at bronies.

Now perhaps you meant to say that differently, or made a mistake and did not realize it.  The English language can be a tricky thing, and I'm sure with more careful attention and practice, these errors will become less common.

And finally, Fox were the other people I'm talking about, and they do count as people that are not you.  This incident will have no significant effect on Fox compared to other much larger incidents they have had in the past.

So now that you have the full explanation of my already simple and clear post, you must surely agree with me and thank me for my time and effort.  Please, it was nothing, I expect to have to provide these one sided services in every human exchange, as there is simply no way to know what anyone else is saying without it.

You two are just not realizing, I am talking about plenty of stuff Fox did before, hence "OVER THE YEARS". There was no such thing as a brony a few years ago, when they were still tarnishing their image, so it should be obvious what I meant.

Winkio, I do not thank you for a single thing, because you're still twisting what I'm saying.

This first statement, I was seeking clarification.
Take this here, now. I am saying, that if it was a joke, that means I was not able to tell because of things they did years before. That statement about them looking dumb, had nothing to do with the brony jab, AT ALL.

Also, Jenrae: No thanks, grow up, and quit being childish. I am just trying to explain to winkio what he is not seeing.

Wait, I think the long explanation worked!  I agree with the post you just made!

Now that we are on the same page, we should be able to agree that when you say "they will always look dumb" directly after referring to Fox's image, you are still referring to Fox publicly, and thus still referring to them appearing to be dumb to the public eye, right?

Yes, I was referring to their image and the people in Fox. But did not say it for why you said I did, which was because of the brony thing, but plenty of stuff years before. But yes, I did; I just didn't use this particular incident as an example.
