I've seen lots of animated sigs that are clips of a video. I want to know how to do this. I've googled Avi to gif maker, but i always get spyware or something. Can someone link me?

i use Fireworks but the 2 programs are mostly the same, Photoshop as more tools and more poffesional
if your looking for an AVI to GIF converter, you could use Flash, import the AVI to the Flash project and extend the frames to the end of the AVI so that the Flash Animation is as long as the AVI, then save the Flash Animation as a GIF (or export, which ever)......i think that would work, it's been a long running theory of mine which i really should test out but all my AVI's are long as hell and would take forever to save
