I have reached a time in my life that I feel I need to move on from this site. I have been contemplating to myself over the past few weeks if I should, and the more days that pass, the more I feel certain in my decision. It is nothing personal with anyone here, I love this place, and I love all you guys, I just don't feel the same about this place anymore, and visit more out of habit than anything else anymore.
I feel I am getting (actually already are) too old for this anymore, and need would like to move on to different things, and yes, this includes ARC as well. Too be quite honest, I am bored with RPG Maker in general, and have a hard time finding motivation to do anything for it. It is a shame to back out of ARC when it is so far along, but it feels more like a burden to me now than something I actually enjoy. This is supposed to be a hobby, not something I feel negatively about, and I want to leave before I develop any more feelings of animosity towards it.
I won't be leaving all abruptly, I will likely be around for a couple more days, and maybe post a few things script related I have not before, but this is my farewell to you all. I think you all for being such a great community, and I wish you all the best of luck in your endeavors.
... Fuck, I don't know what to say. I've been sitting here for like 10 minutes trying to process, something I'm not really in the state to do.
To be honest I really don't want you to leave it's fun having you around your 7-8 years my senior and yet that is never made apparent in our conversations I enjoy interacting with you and I'll hate to see you go.
I'm also a little peeved your backing out of ARC NOW of all times, I have some things that if your going to leave I need you to do so I can pick up your work but I'll address those in the ARC section.
now this tiny post took me half an hour to write so I'll go do something else and hopefully I'll be able to be a little more elegant before you leave. I hope you find something to be passionate about in your life, I'm not even 20 yet and I know how much it sucks to have no motivations.

I'm a huge fan, I admire your determination and responsibility, both qualities that made you an excellent mod, but sometimes, you have to be a little more decisive. I've seen this negative trend developing for a while now, and not just in you, but in a few other members as well. I can only guess that you stayed this long to see if it would get any better, and as an act of loyalty to the community. If so, it's a kind gesture, but fuck that. If you were not enjoying this site, you owed it to yourself to take a break or outright leave, not wallow in depression for weeks or even months.
Other than that, thanks for being here, no regrets, and go kick some ass someplace else!

This is good for your sake. If you feel like ARC is a burden for you i completely understand that you want to stop working with it and fully support your choice. And if this place no longer somewhere you want to be then go and do something fun instead of forcing yourself to be somewhere you do not want to be.
Even though i did not have enough time to get to know you i still feel kind of sad that you're leaving and i have always looked up to you ever since that day when we first talked on IRC and you gave me the Dropbox information for ARC distribution. I also want to thank you for the small scripts that you made for me to use in The Missing Part when i send a few requests every now and then in the Scripts Section.

I feel you though. Not literally. But I haven't really felt too connected to this place in a long time. I only stay around because there's a few cool people here and there, but one after the other they all leave.

Shit, man. :( I understand you. winkio basically already said what I think. If you think you are basically wasting your time here, you owe it to yourself to move it on. I'm just saddened that you will abandon ARC as well, because I thought it was a few levels above RMXP and an actual challenge. But if you feel that it's a burden to you, it's probably for the best. I just hope Ryex doesn't back out in the last minute as well. :P Then I'd be all alone on ARC.
As I already posted in the Core Development section, I decided to keep on going with ARC.
I feel really bad about just abandoning you guys, and after a week of thinking it over, I'm not gonna do that.
I likely won't be as active on the forum, but I'm gonna see ARC through to the end.
