Yeah, it's ok as basic. Make his face more visible and the armor and helmet not as heavy. And the head seems small. xD

I think the colours could do with a bit over they don't seem to contrast well together either the greenish yellow I can't tell what it's make it a bit more saturated or desature the green, I dnno that's just me though, oh and the bodys well done Calintz :)

:P trying to help I changed colours a tiny bit you can use this one if you or Blizz likes it and I widened face a bit when I make sprites sometimes colours from the battlers dnt look good anyway up to you and Blizz and I like the sprite the body's good :)

Yeah, it looks way better now. Now, here is what you can improve next IMO:

- add some saturation on the yellowish color.
- make his arms stand out more and his waist widther, he looks skinny and as if he has his hands in his pockets xD
- the helmet is a bit wrong, not that "main" part is so huge, but that thing on his forehead is
- be free to make the helmet a bit smaller on the vertical scale
- give him meaner glaze

So far, so good. :)

All right Blizz...
I worked for like 5more minutes on it today and this is what I tried to enhance, based on what's ^^.
The most current v. will always be the furthest to the right, or the last pic in sequence. I tried to make the eyes look more dangerous, however I may have added one pixel too many >> can be easily fixed. I added sat. to the main color, and I made him wider...What now Blizz?? I still feel a little disappointed in my work on this one, but this is the most detailed sprite I've attempted thus far.

**I do feel however that the most recent modifications blend him more t the RTP style...

It was hard at first, because I wasn't sure how I should position the gold crap, Lol!! After I had gotten that down pact with the mental image, he was no problem.

BTW:
If Lost_Hope is really gone, than that means that I can use his sprites I created for his game!! Everyone is more than welcome to use them as well now...*Goes to drop them off in "Calintz's Random Resources"*

Construction for down movement is complete...This could've been bad on my part, but I made an assumption that this new version would be the one you'd like to use, so I completed his down movement graphics. If any edits at all, I think maybe I will just need to play with his color, I think I got his body down finally...

His arms are now easily visible and his armor has been saturated. Any more changes needed, let me know, otherwise, please gimme the go ahead to finish him up...

That white hooded sprite looks awesome.

Ok, my sprite needs only 3 more things:

1. Make those things on his shoulders a bit smaller, his face can actually be seen easily on the original image and the pauldron are simply too big, lol! They should cover only the neck if possible. The battler's image is your best reference.
2. Increase the yellow-greyish armor part's saturation more, it should give a goldy look like on the image, but it looks almost grey and a bit too violet instead of yellow.
3. Make his "mean look" a bit blurry, so he doesn't look like he's completely angry, but only has a confident glaze. Pretty much like Jason or Endout.

Blizzard's sprite has been the hardest I have ever done. I'm not satisfied with it's looks either, it just seems I can't get what I, or he wants from it.

Yellow & White are the hardest colors to work with =3 and Green since their dark or clear tones makes them a bit out of hand.

- I tried to make the glare "confident" rather than angry.

OMG I LOVE YOU!

It's perfect. I have only one suggestion left because I can't exactly imagine how it would look like. Try to make the helmet horizontally a bit smaller. Or try that his face is less covered from the sides. Just to see if it looks better. If not, leave it as it is now. Best is you compare him with another char to see if it's ok and if his head doesn't look too small then. Other than that I can only say that the helmet could have some more texture, but then again, it might not look good.

welll... for this one, I have no reference at all, only my description.

its not a character that will appear in Tenia Mala, but rather one that will appear ina game, I might make, but for that I'll need A LOT more graphics than these... and A LOT more effects and stuff, seeing as if i make it, I'm gonna want to go commercial with it...

but anyway

here she is.

ok, pretty much everything is one color, but the color i have in mind is... difficult to describe...

the closest i can coime up with is like a pinkish-purple...

anyway

so her hair is shortish, goes too about her shoulders, all around, and the bangs are kept off to the sides, not in her face

she is about twelve years old

her eyes, are big, but like, empty, as if there is no emotion behind them, soulless, the anime way of having the entire eye be colored in(no highlights) is a way i've thought of having this.

she wears a robe that covers her arms, but has no sleeves, yet she can still take her arms out of it, does that make sense? it has no designs on it, and she is barefoot.

she uses many weapons, but primarily weilds two swords, of the same colro, except the hilt, where its a pure dark purple handle, with a black dragon twisting around it, the blade looks like it's coming out of the dragon's mouth, the dragons head has three curved away from the blade horn-like things, which are right behind the eyes, and the ones closest to the eyes are shorter than the rest, the middle ones are the longest, and the ones farthest from the eyes are about inbetween the size of the other two.

sorry if I ask for too much detail on the blades...

also, the blade glows the same pinkish purple that her hair, eyes, and robe are. except for the hilt, which is where msot of the detail is.

I need a Battler and a Character Sprite, please.

As I've said though, it's not necessarily a loss, because the sprites become public.

Everybody...I am truly srry to report, but the workshop is on temporary leave. I have become unawaringly and dangerousl close to failing my project. No time can be spent on anything but my project for the remainder of time until it's release, hterefore the shop is out of service for a while. The thing around his neck is tighter and he's taller on the down-looking image. I also changed the color scheme slightly and changed a few pixels here and there. Nothing special, just some minor tweaks.

Okay I'll try and compile my lists and pick a few that I need. It's funny, me and my friend are each making a game, and his is way more spell intensive, but mine has more spell diversity. We are almost done with our spell lists, and once we share them at the end, I will have a database of like 1000 spells to pick from to put in my game!

Basically, I'll post up a few in a week or so, and then from time to time, might pop in with a few more:)

ok, pretty much everything is one color, but the color i have in mind is... difficult to describe...

the closest i can coime up with is like a pinkish-purple...

she uses many weapons, but primarily weilds two swords, of the same colro, except the hilt, where its a pure dark purple handle, with a black dragon twisting around it, the blade looks like it's coming out of the dragon's mouth, the dragons head has three curved away from the blade horn-like things, which are right behind the eyes, and the ones closest to the eyes are shorter than the rest, the middle ones are the longest, and the ones farthest from the eyes are about inbetween the size of the other two.

sorry if I ask for too much detail on the blades...

also, the blade glows the same pinkish purple that her hair, eyes, and robe are. except for the hilt, which is where msot of the detail is.

I need a Battler and a Character Sprite, please.

That might help if you go ahead with that :) Let me re-check if that was the request ._.

You should also make one for different programs, like photoshop, fireworks, gimp, paint.net, MS Paint, etc... I could help convert them after you make the tutorial, that way people can sprite if they don't have good programs like photoshop or fireworks.

Well I think he might be close to finishing Caro's so yeah your next.
Zombie sprites shouldn't take him to long to make, just a little frankenspriting, recoloring and adding bit's to make it more zombieish like arms cut off, cuts places, etc... So I estimate probably 5-7 business days to recieve one or more sprites of zombies.
I could be completely wrong and he could take his time and it could last as long as it did for Caro.
Just an estimate :)

Maybe I didn't click the search button hard enough, but I ran a search and I couldn't find any winter garb character sprites. So I'm assuming no one's made any, but if they do indeed exist, yell at me and tell me so I can d/l them.

SO IT'S REQUEST TIME.

Can Calintz, or anyone who has both time and skill, make some cool fancy winter outfits for XP's character sets? I actually only need a winter outfit for the Hunter 1 set, but I think it'd be rather strange he be the only person smart enough to wear warm clothes during the cold season.

So my request is:

1 Winter outfit for Hunter character.

Sorry for the lack of spriting lately. I have been heavy working on my own project, and I haven't had much spare time.

Anyway, somewhere along the way, I lost track of what's going on in here, so we're gonna get this ball rolling again, and I am giving everyone a chance to be first again. You know the rules ... first come, first serve. Lay down the requests =). I will do my best to go for at least one finished product a week. Well, he did last log on about two weeks ago. I'd hardly call that inactive. However, he does rarely post, and hasn't posted in here for more than six months. I'd say we should go ahead and lock it; we can always unlock it later if he wants it back open. In any case, we should at the very least remove the sticky.

Its funny because those 2 weeks ago he sent me a pm asking if I played battle field bad company 2 on the ps3 because he killed someone by the name of game_guy xD Other than that he hasnt been on for awhile.
