Don't use Ruby x64. Use Ruby x86.

Not sure what version to download? Please read the right column for recommendations.

Ruby 2.0.0-p247
Ruby 2.0.0-p247 (x64)
Ruby 1.9.3-p448
Ruby 1.8.7-p374

which ones x86?

Ruby 2.0.0-p247, and if that doesn't work you can always use ruby 1.9.3

Yeah, usually everything is x86. If something's x64, it's usually written.

You're not able to set the default program? That's odd. Does it not show up in the "Open with..." window?
