Post by: Shadonking on August 25, 2008, 06:59:50 pm
i herd that the chip and pin system with bank cards has been broken (we knew it would happen anyway). so what is your veiw or opinion on the protection and security the banks offer for data protection and our money?

I'm not very savvy when it comes to the bank systems, and all I'm aware of are bank robberies. However, I never heard of this event, and this is indeed concerning. I doubt it would happen to towns with low crime rates, but knowing your money gets stolen is really depressing...

Upping the security would help for a little bit, but the security isn't optimal. This somewhat reminds me of another problem we are having: Identify theft. It relates a bit to this...and at least there are some steps being taken to end this hacking charade...

yeh there are some methods of security but then they go and place there documats in the bins without shreding half of it (idiots).

as any one had problems with the bank.

if yes what did they do to help.
