i have rmxp at home. it works perfectly. im trying to get it to work on the computer at school but its not hooked to the internet so when i open the rmxp program it brings up the error message saying "could not obtain serial from nTitles server" or something along those lines. im wondering if there is a crack/driver/something i can do to trick into thinking that i have already put in the activation codes and stuff without using the keygen (which requires the internet). please help me ASAP!!!  :'(

also i know there was a crack or something for rmvx cuz another kid in my class got rmvx to work in class with no internet. but i like xp better  :^_^':

I can answer your RPG Maker VX question with pure confidence. If you are using this Keygen:



Then you technically have the key generator for RPG Maker VX. RPG Maker VX and XP use the same Keygen.

It seems to me you're getting a dumb nTitles server error, which I have no idea how to correct on a computer using the XP system (If it's Vista, check out Aqua's lovely instructions on how to get RMXP to work on Vista).

The whole process can actually work offline, so it must be an issue with the computer you're using. Try another computer, or do some upgrading to that one you have...;) Sorry for the little help this provides...

Technically untrue. I need internet to register RMXP and VX. I'm not sure what it does on the internet because I'm 95% positive that it doesn't do anything like register the serial number for usage in nTitles, so all I think it does is just check to see if the thing is valid. Which makes no sense because they should have made RMXP do that, not nTitles server.

If you try and open it on a comp with no internet it says it needs to obtain a tial from the nTitles server, which is ridiculous but whatever, I won't complain. Anyways, you can use Posality Knights if you're desparate. It's horrible for scripts but the 2nd version improved immensely. You can at the least map  :haha:
