!I was inspired to make this by an RPG I played long ago. You can read those 7 pages here, it was very fun until the forum died. Nobody's posting there anymore.

This role playing game takes place in a futuristic, post-apocalyptic world in the year 2137. The Earth has been devastated not only by petty human conflicts, but by intergalactic conflicts with the barbarian alien race who call themselves the
Scord Dhin Kardok (SDK) or simply
Scord. Some entities call them
Scorch due to their destructive nature.
If you don't want to read the background story, skip the next few chapters and starts reading from "Present".
The Beginning of the End
In the year 2045 the human race was able to create the first fully functional robot AI called Tech3. Before that there was no commercial gain from AI, so nobody tried fully developing one. In the year 2032 everything changed and as a new generation of robot hardware flooded the market, the need of an AI to make them more autonomous increased. In the year 2074 robots and androids were accepted members of the society. Only one major problem aroused: Robotism, a hatred for non-organic intelligent beings which made even the earlier major problems like Racism and Nazism (that became major problem in the early 30's) look like nothing. In 2076 the situation escalated and the world separated into two big parts. Even the WACC (World Administration and Control Center) which was founded in the late 60's, was not able to prevent this. 2077 the Tech3 War broke out initiated by the GRA (Grand Robotism Association) which devastated 17% of the planet within 12 years.
The War ended suddenly in 2089 at the day of the first Scord invasion... The Scord were watching the humans and their development for centuries already and it has come the time that they feared that their master plan would fail. The SDK were interested in the natural resources of planet Earth, but as they noticed the self-destructing nature of humans they wanted to wait for the moment where they would be weak enough to invade. But the plan had to be changed. If the Scord didn't act now, maybe the Tech3 War would cause the devastation of Earth to a degree where it was useless to them. At that day 5% of the human population was wiped out and humans realized that the Era of Space Travel was over, the Era of Contact has begun. The first Scord War had started. The war lasted 6 years and humans were able to drive the invaders off. The aftermath of the war was horrible. The Scord used chemical, bio and nuclear weaponry which caused from minor to major mutations amongst 12% of the population. A new society problem arose: Mutatism. Everything that was not human anymore was degraded to lower species. Yet this time there was no world separation, there were only few who had sympathy for the mutants. Soon mutants started to gather at a couple of places, as far away as possible from non-mutated humans. Most of them started living in canalizations and sewers whose were not physically far away, but socially.
Metallic Allies
The human race knew that the Scord wouldn't give up so easily. They concentrated on enhancing and developing their metallic allies and during the next 2 decades a new AI was developed called Tech4X. This AI was incredibly adaptive, allowing a robot to even learn emotions and humor if taught. This AI allowed the finalization of the Android Project. Androids are much more resistant than conventional robots or basic cyborgs. Their exoskeleton is built similar to humans' body structure and due to the Tech4X AI they have their own will, they are able to decide and learn, they have full understandings of physics and are excellent and agile fighters. No human can reach the capabilities of an android in physics. They have 4 main "Core Hyrid" processors with 64 cores for data processing and 2 graphical analysis processors (short: GAP) with 16 cores which allow them to "see". The GAPs are implemented into the sight sensors and are highly developed.
On the other side normal robot have limited physical capabilities, below those of a human being. Most robots move on wheels. Cyborgs are very similar to robots, but they are capable of walking, but since the undeveloped balancing system, they cannot run and such.
Scord War 2
Scord War 2 was expected for many years and in 2117 the time had come. This time the humans were prepared for the attack, but not for the technology the Scord have developed. The human race's greatest strength would become they greatest weakpoint. The Scord developed a "portable" device, about the size of a tank that would reprogram undeveloped non-organic intelligent beings (NIB) by using a virus that is send via electro magnetic waves. 74% of all NIBs started attacking their creators. Since the remaining NIBs had a much more own-developed AI or were simply "too stupid" or "incompatible" or were simply broken at "the right places" to react on the virus, the humans were able to drive the Scord off once more after long 9 years.
Present
From 2126 to the present day of 2137 the Earth hasn't developed even a bit. Governments have fallen apart, countries have been destroyed, human faith and hope has vanished... 36% of the Earth's surface was devastated to a heavy degrees, another 28% is inhabitable. The rest is mildly damaged, yet almost every city has been destroyed. The "human evolution" has come to a still stand. An apocalypse that was going on almost 50 years has come to an end and humans only try to survive in this harsh world. And if that wasn't enough... Since 2133 occasionally Scord spaceships land on the planet and try to kill off remaining humans to built their machinery and extract the remaining natural resources of the planet. This was the moment where the humans realized what the Scord had in plan all the time...
Game Play
Ok, our story starts here, at the October, the 13th in the year 2137. Most NIBs became autonomous and want to claim the remains of the planet for themselves. Mutants and humans try to do the same. While humans try to restore the planet, the mutants only care for survival. The last fraction consist out of the aliens who are only out for the resources. So, the competing fractions are humans, mutants, NIBs and Scord. The first three fractions are fully hostile to the Scord and mildly hostile to each other. It pretty much depends on which NIB, which mutant and which human you encounter. Everybody sees things different. Mutants are still mostly hiding and the smallest of all fractions. You can choose to be a robot, a normal human or a mutant. Be careful if you choose to be a mutant, since you have limited abilities and you will have limited actions available and almost not be able to act as long as you don't encounter any humans, Scord of NIBs. Read the rules below for more info.
Rules for story tellers
- 1. No double posting and editing allowed (WITHOUT GOOD REASON WHICH YOU NEED TO MENTION).
- 2. You can only controls characters if it necessary and you can only control basic actions that will drive the story further, you cannot just take over characters. i.e. Char A: "You must go and save them! I will stay here and cover you" Story Teller: "And so Char B goes forth to get the people out of the cave..." This makes sense in a situation where the player didn't take control over his character for a couple of days and the story has to go on, but it can't since he's asked for action. Keep in mind, this is only to keep the story going on.
- 3. You are allowed to have one character, but then you are not allowed to affect the environment around your own character. Though, you are allowed to lead your character into an environment controlled by you. In this case, you will lose the control over the environment, but you have your character in a situation which you might like. You are not allowed to do this all the time. Your character cannot leave an environment that is not controlled by you if the story teller(s) doesn't/don't let you. i.e. you want to save your character from death by abusing your story teller powers AGAIN, the other story teller can simply shut the door before your nose.
- 4. You cannot make any "unrealistic" decisions if you don't "back them up" heavily. Things like a sudden meteor crashing and killing someone is not allowed. Unrealistic includes "random" as you can see from the example before.
- 5. You are not allowed to get the characters into such a danger where they have absolutely no possibility to survive, only I can do that.
- 6. You are not allowed to nullify the characters actions for progress over and over. i.e. Char A manages to get through a metal door and you put another one in front of him. Or Char A just hacked through the system and you put up another firewall.
If you decide to give the players an obstacles, define it clearly. You are allowed to say "There are 2 firewalls, but Char A doesn't know that there is another..."
- 7. Unlimited environments are allowed. For example, two characters can be trapped in an underground prison while three others are fighting aliens outside. Those are two different environments.
- 8. Don't only make the characters obstacles, help them sometimes. i.e. Story Teller: "Suddenly Char A spotted a glimpse of light. And yes, the brick was loose... Could it be a was to escape the prison...?"
- 9. Flaming or breaking other forum rules like spam will make you lose your position instantly. Of course you are allowed to comment things, see "How to play" for more information.
Any violation of these rules will result in "getting your character in serious trouble" if you have one AND losing your story teller position for unlimited time.Rules for players
- 1. You must obey the story teller(s). You must never argue with the story teller(s). The story teller(s) cannot get your character into situations where he is destined to die, but I can and I will if you don't obey them. (The story teller(s) is/are creating your environment, you can't really argue with "god", can you? ;))
- 2. No double posting. You may only post ONCE. If somebody else posted after you, you are allowed to post again anytime.
- 3. No editing afterwards allowed (WITHOUT GOOD REASON WHICH YOU NEED TO MENTION). You may only edit if you have grammar mistakes and if you edit them just after you posted. Edits like "one hour later" are not allowed.
- 4. If your character dies, you are dead, the game is over for you. Though, you are allowed to create a new character. Your new character must not have too similar attributes as the one before.
- 5. Your environmental control is limited to 4 things.
1) You have complete control over your character. You completely control his dialogue, monologue and actions.
2) You CANNOT control any actions or dialogues of other characters. Only the story teller(s) can if it's necessary. i.e. Char A: "You must go and save them! I will stay here and cover you" Story Teller: "And so Char B goes forth to get the people out of the cave..."
3) You have little environmental control. That means you are allowed to create neutral environmental changes like letting it rain or let somebody who's running away screaming "Help" or letting people start panicking. If you can't decide if some action is "neutral", just try to think of how much of an impact it really can have on the outgoing of the story. If you find a weapon, this can heavily change the outgoing, so you are only allowed to do that if you have predicted it before and it makes sense. i.e. Char A: "If we can make it through to the store room, we might be able to find some weapons."
4) You are not allowed to add character abilities just like that afterwards. Abilities gained like "attached a machine gun onto his cyber arm" are fine, but that is MOSTLY up to the story tellers, since you have only little environmental control (see 3).
- 6. Unlimited number of players is allowed, only one character per player.
- 7. You are allowed to hinder story teller(s) from messing up your plans by planning and prediction. i.e. If you let your character have a lot of ammo, the story teller(s) can't possibly let you go out of ammo, but (s)he/they can make your weapon jam.
- 8. Your character may develop during the story, but you MUST have a story backup. i.e. A usually selfish robot saves a little girl after a lot of thinking about how some other human saved him.
- 9. Flaming or breaking other forum rules like spam will make me kill your character instantly. Of course you are allowed to comment things, see "How to play" for more information.
Any violation of these rules will result in "getting your character in serious trouble".
What is "serious trouble"?
"Serious trouble" is considered a situation where your character is not allowed to leave alive. Only I can initiate such a situation. I will announce "serious trouble" for your character and if I see you manage things well and add much flavor to the story, I might reconsider killing your character and giving you another chance. I will only initiate serious trouble for your character if you didn't follow the rules. Depending on the heaviness of your violation of the rule, I might just let a giant concrete tube fall down on you and almost kill you instantly or I may bring your character into a one-on-one situation where you have to save your sorry ass. The latter can be considered as something like "Ok, you messed I up, I'll give you an impossible mission. If you can manage it, I might let you go."
How to play
Create a character and let the story teller put you into the story. You are allowed to add yourself into the story with a dramatic entry if you see fit and have the chance. i.e. Other characters have trouble fighting and you save them. You are allowed to this only when you enter the story.
You control your character through various situations the story teller(s) get(s) you in. Try to stay alive and try to act as you defined your character. i.e. Some selfish robot wouldn't simply save a girl without having some kind of in-depth monologue before that. When posting, you MUST apply to these posting rules:
1. This is how a story telling looks like. You may make your character act like this or tell the story. In other words, it's simple text.

Abilities: ABILITY_LIST
Bio: BIO
You may add anything into the biography of your character, but keep in mind that you are defining your character through it. You cannot change things in the bio later, but you are allowed to "reveal" things later.
You have 4 points for distribution for your arsenal. A mildly dangerous weapon costs 1 point, a moderately dangerous weapon costs 2 points and a heavily dangerous weapon costs 4 points.
You have 4 points to distribute for abilities. Similar to weapons you have highly, moderately and mildly dangerous abilities. The costs are also 4, 2, 1, but keep in mind that a stronger ability needs longer to "regenerate". e.g. You can't use one highly dangerous ability all the time, it's not fun that way. If you are unsure into which category your ability falls, simply post, we can sort it out. Abilities are not only fighting abilities. i.e. hacking can be considered mildly dangerous ability, a "laser-sword" can be considered moderately dangerous, a machine gun is highly dangerous. The only mildly dangerous weapon that is a fire weapon as well is a simple gun.
Keep in mind that you may have up to one highly dangerous weapon and one moderately dangerous weapon. Instead of one highly dangerous weapon you can have two moderately dangerous weapons and instead of one moderately
If you have to leave the forums or won't be active for some times, please post here so we can "suspend" your character. We will lead him into a neutral environment where he can stay inactive until you come back.

The story started in the middle fo Africa, in a city called Desert Lake City...
Sally's story:
Sally was accused of theft while being in a bar. Since then nobody has heard of or seen Sally anymore... What has happened to her? Did she leave the Desert Lake City? Or has something happened to her...?
Alex's story:
Alex has met Sally at the beginning of his adventure, but their ways parted quickly. Alex went with a group of mercenaries, with a man called Razor as leader, to an old facility that is being used as laboratory to clean it from mutants on behalf of an unknown contractor. They first successfully infiltrated the facilty, but were cought afterwards by the mutants and held hostage. Two men and several mutants died during the capture. Alex was being questioned and met Pyro, obviously the mutant leader. Alex had no choice but to tell the truth as his life was at stake. The mutants were acting pretty "human", though, and did not torture or kill any of their hostages. After a sudden earthquake the mutants realized that their presence was not needed at the facility anymore. The biological weapon research center of the Scord in the nearby city "Verlorener Himmel" was destroyed by a to the mutants and mercenaries unknown entity. Pyro made a deal with Alex to set them all free and leave them alive. They could return to the contractor and tell him that the mission was a success as no mutants inhabit the facility anymore. After the payout Alex and Razor returned to the group of mutants and joined them in their battle against the Scord. They are now on their way to India as they suspect another dangerour Scord facility there...
L3X's story:
Different from the others L3X started out in the middle of the desert. His memory access chip was damaged and he was roaming around the desert until a group of people picked him up and left him close to Verlorener Himmel. That's how he met Kyle and Kya. L3X's memory was restored by the Nano-Bots in his metallic body and he remembered that he was part of a group that attacked Verlorener Himmel to drive out the Scord from the city. L3X returned to the battlefield and was able to infiltrate the city alone. Inside he met Mur, a android-human hybrid lifeform and Kya. L3X noticed a heavily guarded building which cought his attention and curiosity. Kya wanted to take L3X to their base in order to make him join the Scord-Resistance group, but L3X decided to "get lost" on his way to the base, though, he learned the location of the secret base. L3X infiltrated the building and found out that the Scord were developing an experimental biological lifeform weapon for an unknown purpose. He met Kyle inside the building as well. In order to blow up the building they started deploying explosive charges, though, the "dragon monster" interfered with their plans. First Kyle was trying to keep the monster busy until L3X deployed all charges, but soon they changed their places as L3X has a higher battle endurance due to the fact that he is an android. Both L3X and Kyle were able to escape the monster, blow up the building, the facility insied, half of the city and an unknown number of Scord in the area. Kyle returned with L3X to the secret base where L3X met Mur and Kya again. During the celebration a troop with a Scord hostage interrupted the party. Also Kya disappeared during that time. The next day the Scord was questioned "successfully" and the group was able to get some, even if little, information from him. L3X downloaded the data and returned to the explosion site. After a long search he was able to find an old optical data storage medium called "DVD". In hope to find an optical reader for the disk at the nearby research facility, he was about to make his way to the facility when he was attacked by an unknown Scord weapon... Evading the attack and counterattacking, he was able to survive this incident without a scratch. The attacker was about to flee. L3X scanned the area and detected the escaping aggressor. L3X followed him and almost cought up...
What happened to Mur after he joined the resistance is unknown...
The other characters were not introduced into the storyline as the players decided not play after all.

A couple of minutes later Pyro appears.

Alex starts loading the stuff it seems like they've got a lot of heavy artillery and some droids that still need repairing. Alex than jumps into the vehicle
A few moments later Johnny jumps on the same truck with Alex. Alex catches his sight. He looks at Alex for a moment and then turns away help the other mutant to close the backdoor from the inside. He hits the truck wall twice and just a moment later the trucks starts moving.
Johnny goes to Alex.

Why that is so is still unknown to us, but we assume the Scord simply have no interest in those areas as they robbed the land off all useful resources already. The blue dot is our next target. It is a long way to India, we have devided the path into several sections with checkpoints through which we want to pass. The reason is simple: At those checkpoints are areas where you can find resources in a quantity which could draw the Scord. We need to know if they already know those areas. Luckily we're not really in danger by passing through those areas if the Scord area already there. Anyway, I'm tired from the load up and will get some rest. You can examine the map some more or do whatever you want, just leave me alone for now. You can go check the equipment or check on how much damage was done to the droids and how much they need to be repaired.
(Just a note: I DID mention a "truck", but to keep consistency, it is a futuristic heavy transportation vehicle which is simply called truck like in our times. :3)
before his eyes, was another weapon, looking out into the distance, L3X clearly saw a line of these weapons, leading him somewhere, they all looked similar in design, and probably were used for the same purpose. sniping.
with a trail of Scord Weaponry for L3X to follow, he has two choices once more, follow the trail, or head somewhere else.

Alex:Alex finds a couple of parts that would help him building a disruptor. But then again, didn't Johnny say it would be safe? Doesn't that mean that they already have something in plan if the worst happens?

As L3X is "just" an android and doesn't have a too much developed abstract thinking abilities like humans do, he can't think of what actually happened here... He leaves the city and is on his way to the facility that was left by the mutants just hours ago.

Alex slowly gets up, still in a half-sleeping state. He seems pretty tired from the last couple of days. Luckily he'll have the whole night to sleep after the dinner.

it was then night, and with night, came cooler temperatures in the desert, so L3X was able to move through the desert, and arrive at a sheltered area, near the facility, before morning struck.

while having been designed by Scord, it was devloped for human use, everything about it was geared away from Scord hands, and made for use by a human.
checking the computers database, he was able to discover that a large number of these weapons were manufactured in the facility.
as L3X was about to finish up, he noticed a folder marked 'BioE' despite it being simply a folder L3X found it would not open.
the folder would require some hacking to open.
does L3X decide the Folder titled 'BioE' is important enough to hack? or does he simply move on?

when L3X 'wakes up' the following morning, he finds his process has not been able to even put a dent in the locks on the folder.
theres a whole day ahead of him, and, checking the location of Kyle's new base, he found it was far from his current location.
L3X can choose to head to the new base anyway, despite its far distance, hoping a hacker good enough to open the folder is there. or, he can search for one in a more... 'local' area.

While Ray leaves the room, L3X starts scanning the files. What he finds out, though, is almost beyond his comprehension. Ray reenters the room a few minutes later just about when L3X is finished scanning the file.
the information held within the folder was that of comnitors of a Biological Weapon, again designed in the visige of a creature derived from Lore.
the development was headed by a scientist named Falian Derelin. a human. apparently, they were employed by an unnamed client and were supplied by this person.
the technology they used mimicked the Scord's, and there were Audio and Text files detailing the creation of this creature.
development was cut-off when Falian was killed by his first son, Nerel, the reasons are unknown but it appears the son committed suicide the day following.
the computers were left with the task of finishing it, all the components were set and working, and the only reason they decided it was ok to leave, was that without the lead scientist, at the current stage, it was deemed useless for the scientists to remain.
the weapon only needed to age to functional stage inside its womb-like capsule.
once that was finished, the capsule would open, and the weapon would walk out, only sustaining itself as need be.
only by activating an EXE file held within the folder would it mobilize, first it would go to where the signal originally came.
it would then follow the orders the Scord gave it, and after that, it would find humans, mutants, and androids to take in, and become more powerful, if it was to be given the order to become a soldier.
the weapon was designed after a creature from Lore.
the creature, was an Elf.
pointy ears, and a tall body, and all the works.
Ray had just finished reading the file L3X had on screen.

Drawing closer and closer, the steps getting louder and louder, L3X has to quickly decide what he will do. He does a quick scan of the house and can locate Ray's sister. She's in the room next to the one where Ray and L3X are currently located in.

Luckily it is already night and nobody can actually spot him. From the far L3X can see a small person coming towards him. It is Ray.

L3X readies himself for an attack by the "bubble man". He acts as if nothing will happen. He stops the Hover Glider and gets out. He walks around in the area a little bit to get an overview over the terrain.

thats when L3X suddenly went flying backwards.
it was a projectile, similar to the one the Bubble Man had used before, Scord.
a flurry of them came from several directions, and L3X caught the locations where all of them were coming from.
too far apart ans spontaeneous to be one person.
there were a recorded five different locations, L3X managed to catch some cover in the trees, and he had to choose which of the five to go to, for information.
The shooting stops when L3X finally hides behind a rock, because the trees couldn't give him real protection.

He runs out of his cover and goe straight for his first target. Of course his enemies are shooting at him, but L3X blocks all shots with the Holo-N Shield. He reroutes two or three shots at the second target while get moves in to the first and knocks him out. The second target gets hit be reflected energy shots. L3X move in for the third target while he blocks the shots the same way and sends them up to the opponent on the tree. Quickly he can dispose of the third and fourth target. The last enemy simply falls down to the ground from the tree after taking a few of the reflected shots.

L3X had to move out of there fast.
Or not... While the five men concentrate on preparing to explode, L3X simply activates his Holo-N Shield and HP mode again. But instead of using the HP mode to make shots bounce off the shield further than usual, L3X increases the shields size to protect himself from the explosion as the explosion isn't too strong and hence not strong enough to blow through the shield. Hard to believe, but L3X stays completely unharmed as the five explode like one entity at the same moment.

L3X apparently had a high luck factor.
HP Mode suddenly activated itself, and L3X was able to kick a hole large enough for him and Delia to charge through, and they had just enough time to duck, as the wall regenerated itself, and sheltered them from most of the blast.

L3X keeps the blobs down for maybe 10 or 15 seconds, just to give Delia and Ray an advantage. Of course there is no way for L3X in such a state to keep up his HP mode, so after his final blow, he shuts it down and starts running after the two kids.

L3X can run pretty fast and catches up with the kids very soon. From moment to moment he scans the area behind to see if anybody is following. So far, the were still not able to follow the group. L3X takes the two kids under his arms and runs even faster until they catch up with Kyle. He lets the kids down again to run on their own so he can concentrate on fighting if it becomes necessary again.
however, something is strange.
Kyle, Delia, and Ray managed to get out(and btw, Ray was with Kyle the whole time, L3X was alone after the wall regenerated until Delia appeared) but, L3X wasn't sensing any enemies.
thats when something suddenly flared up, and caught his attention.
a wall blocked him off from Kyle and the others.

BioE fell for the leg sweep, and tripped, falling to the ground with a crash.
it jumped up, doing a kick at the same time.

L3X raises his arm and activates his plasma gun. The Scord still keeps running toward him. L3X shoots a fullpowered blast.
the Scord appears to have been vaporized, and then suddenly, an equally powerful blast came flying at L3X
L3X is able to evade the blast in the last second. He quickly scans the area around him, but can't seem to find any living organism. There is an energy source of some kind, but he isn't able to determine the origin or location.

a group surrounded now. each weilding a sword, except one, which held a battleaxe, it screamed. then they all melted, and a shimmering image appeared near where the last Scord was.
it was a Scord, which had a gun, and somehow its garbs seemed to shout 'Scout'. another image appeared near it as well, and the two were speaking in whatever language Scord used.
it seemed like a report.
during it, the blade weilding Scord reappeared, shouting enraged battleshouts, as a few charged at L3X again.
some humans, a couple androids mixed within, apeared around L3X, and one human was speaking to him.

deserts overtook most of the world nowadays, it would seem.

Soon they reach their destination and Ray calls L3X to come over.

L3X locates Kya in the base. Oddly without first comparing her location to the map records he has of the base, he heads straight toward her location. Soon he reaches a building and not even taking a look where he is, he enters the building only to find himself covered in something like steam. It's not much steam, but enough to be noticed. Hearing a rushing sound of what seems to be water, and in this case most probably hot water, he is heading towards Kya's location. Only one door separates him and Kya now. L3X can't see her, but he can hear her. You guessed it, Kya is under the shower after beating up a good deal of resistance soldiers.

after recovering from the shock of L3X's behavior, Kya shook her head, and, sighing, lifted one sleeve, revealing the arm underneath.
what he saw was beyond what L3X expected.
the entire arm was red, shifting, almost liquidic, and it changed first into a blade, then into an ordinary human arm and hand.

it began snowing, hard. one could hardly see in the snow, and it began to quickly pile up.
the Scord were moving, surrounding L3X and Mur.

suddenly the Scord jumped them, some firing lasers, and a few slashing with blades and axes and such.
L3X activates his Ether Blade immediately and runs towards the first Scord evading the laser shots by the other Scords. Those Scord don't seem to be ordinary Scord Assault Troopers. They seem to be more capable of fighting since L3X has a rather hard time delivering a first lethal hit. L3X suddenly stops attacking the evading and defending Scord.

The Eskrima Blade's heat was able to easily deflect the lasers into particles, Mur activates Quicksilver, enables to partially predicts enemies movement and move a little more quicker then Mur can do.
Mur run towards the Scord that is firing the lasers, and sliced the hands off, and the flesh melted quickly, Scords couldn't bleed but can only yell in pain and dies.

After a powerful boost with his left leg, he starts sliding towards the two with rapid speed.

The two Scord soon realize that their shots are not killing the one they should. Their ally got killed by the reflected shots and L3X is sliding with immense speed towards them. They start running, but it's too late. L3X keeps freezing himself a path to slide on and catches up. He uses his Ethereal Blade to cut one of them while passing by them. He jumps into the air, stops freezing a path, turns around in midair and directs the ice beam toward the other Scord, freezing his lower torso almost in an instant.

Mur spots the remaining two scords, Mur runs towards them and fire his gun at them, both of them die but the last scord saw Mur and runs towards him, Mur lift out his sword and the scord run towards the blade and stab itself.

the vehicle is empty, save for one Scord, which was easily disposed of, then L3X and Mur gathered as much as they could.
they got some info off a databank, but it was in Scordian so they'd have to get a dechiperer. later.
just as Mur pulled some numbers that could be coordinates located within the cold spot, an alarm sounded, and while they couldn't understand it, it was quite obvious it was a self destruct.
the two managed to get out and away from the craft before it went up in a large ripple of flame.

searching for a clue, L3X cleared snow, and felt a hollowness underneath what felt like a fake patch of grass.
so whatever was there was underground.

L3X tries to determine what's under the snow. Ironically having a new ice cannon was of no help. The snow wasn't a big problem in determining the location of the entrance to the underground area, but L3X used his plasma gun anyway to melt down some patches of snow at strategic locations to decrease the interference with his scanners.

L3X opens the hatch to the shaft. There is a ladder. L3X goes first, almost blind since it's dark and his sensors are jammed in the shaft. Without any incident they manage to get to the bottom.

Scott:Scott arrives at the location very soon only to find out that there is a battle going on. A group of humans is attacking a Scord unit after they blew up a facility assumingly by the Scord. Pokol turned his head up after hearing the jetpack sounds and realized that jumping off buildings wasn't gonna save him. No wonder, how did the Scord get up on the building in the first place? Jetpacks, of course. Whatever Pokol wanted to do with the girl, when he turned his head towards her again, he would notice that she's gone. As if she has never been there from the beginning on... On top of the Scord attackers, he noticed the earth shaking. Something seemed to have happened further to the south. The Scord are drawing closer, whatever he's going to do, he has to do it quickly.
Buthos:What Buthos didn't know was that not far from his position a type of tank was landed. It was a Scord vehicle with big laser cannons. They were too far away to spot Buthos and Buthos was to far away to see them, but he could feel the earth shaking when they landed. When Buthos turned around, he noticed that the girl was gone. It was rather as if she was never there. Will Buthos try to find out what the Scord are planning or will he try to find the girl or will he decide to do something else?

L3X and Mur slowly move forward through the complex trying to find out what the computer meant by "books". The interior looks almost like a big archive. They keep moving until they decide to open one of the archive doors that seems to be broken.

The chainsaw is very noisy distracting the Scord for a few moments which gives the stranger the time to cut a few of them into pieces. Now shocked by the gore two of the remaining Scord start running away while the rest initiates an attack on the stranger. They end up just like their companions a moment ago. Now the stranger holds up his weapon pointing to the two Scord running away. He fires two shots... one Scord down. He fires another three shots... the other down as well.

It seems that Odius himself will not be able to avoid a battle as well. The wide open plains unfortunately make him a perfect target for a small Scord Marauder group. They ambush Odius from behind a rock. There are 5 of them and there's no way to avoid a fight. How will Odius handle this situation?

The five Scord appeared from behind the rock. Odius came to a slow stop. He looked at the Scord, then took a couple steps closer. The Scord were talking in their foreign language, possibly thinking of a plan to take on Odius.

Odius hits the first Scord with a clothesline, but he holds on and slings him at the next Scord. The Scord hits the other and they both slam into the rock they came hiding out of. Odius picks up their guns from the floor, then starts to speed walk to the two Scord leaning against the rock. He walked right up into their faces, looking at them in disgust. Odius looks at the two guns, then looks at their ugly heads. He lifts the guns up, as if he was wielding an axe, we swings the right one first, taking off its head and the second ones head came soaring off right after. He turns and see the last Scord just standing there.

L3X was already outside though, and his sensors sensed two large groups of lifeforms, one to the west, another to the north.
the storm kicked up a bit, and something big fell over somewhere in the distance; a tree perhaps.
but either way: north, or west?
Odius: Odius was waken up by a loud noise, it seemed to be a large explosion. A town to the west was covered in a cloud of smoke. The only thing you could see from the town was the peek of a church and, of course, the smoke. Odius hurried to pack up his few items he had, then started to run for the town to the west.

Being unsure of whats going on, made it hard for Odius to decide how to handle the situation. The only idea he can think of is, run around blind searching for a fight, but the only thing Odius could find was several civilians and a couple brick walls.

What can Odius possibly do against such a monster? The chances to win a fight directly are incredibly low and it seems that Odius will have to find another way to take it out. Leaving no time for Odius to think, it starts attacking with a gatling laser gun. After Odius gets missed a few times, the vehicle launches two missles coming toward Odius.

Odius: The two missiles from the massive ship came flying at Odius quickly. Odius' natural reaction was to punch the missile's right in the face! But... the missiles being a missile, it just exploded and sent Odius right into a wall.

The smoke had been cleared by the rising of the ship and the blast from the missiles, it was easier to see now. Odius, looked up, to see that he was against the church he saw earlier. He picked himself off the floor, letting out a grunt, then kicked the large doors of the church open. Another barrage of missiles came for Odius, so he quickly ran inside.
Odius:
What Odius hasn't noticed yet was that his arms were heavily wounded and bleeding like hell. No wonder, what does one expect from missle explosions? His back didn't get too much even though the smack against the wall hurt a lot. The church could provide shelter for a minute or two. If enough missles would hit the church, it would collapse. Odius has won some small bit of time to consider what he will do next. And there's still the problem with his wounded arms. If he doesn't think of something soon, he will not survive for long even if he can escape from the VS-Craft.
the androids were tossing back and forth coded words, which L3X couldn't make out the meaning of without thinking a bit first, but the humans weren't disguising their words.

some were boasting about how many Scord they were going to kill and a few were saying how they were sure they were going to be the last one standing and that they would never forget them all and would be sure to take none of the credit for victory, and one person was looking around.

L3X immediately starts the execution of his plan. He manages to get unnoticed very close to the truck. He takes 12 laser cannons, 6 under each or his metallic arms.

Odius: Odius collapsed onto a church bench, his adrenilane had slowed down a bit and felt the pain of his arms.

His arms were shredded from the explosion, but being the big man he is and having some of his arm covered in armor, he was able to start thinking on what he should do next. The VS-Craft used its missiles to blow a hole through the wall, exposing Odius. Looking at the hole in the church wall, followed the ships gatling laser, forcing Odius to run. There was a ladder leading to the roof, where the church bell is. Climbing the later seemed a lot harder than it would normally, due to the obvious fact that his arms are damaged. He reached the top, and saw the massive craft floating outside.

they waited.
time passed.
finally, L3X's sensors found the Scord group passing into the trap.
he activated the remote.
and the cannons fired into the shields of the Scord, the sheer force of power blasting them back into eachother, and then breaking through the shields on the second firing, doing some devestation to the Scord ranks.
but there was still plenty of them. dozens fell, but still a lot continued their marching.
they passed the laser cannons, and still a decent number still marched.
the humans and androids would have a hard time defending themselves.

Odius, scanned the craft again, but still couldn't notice any entrances to it. Odius leaned back on the bell, it making a ringing noise. It drew the attention of the VS-Craft, it slowly rotated in the direction of Odius. He looked at the heavily armored ship, then his brain started to think normally again!

Odius, with his obvious cockiness, turned around and ripped the church bell from its stand. Odius focused his energy, then started to rotate slowly, then picked up some speed. Swinging the bell around, and around, smashing his surrounding area. Odius, almost dizzy, plants his dominate foot and launched himself into the air, above the VS-Craft. While in the air, he gave himself one last spin and cannoned the church bell into the ship. The bell hit the ship, but Odius could not see the damaged he did to it. He was falling from the sky, hitting the church roof then sliding off and then slamming into the floor.

Odius:The ship wasn't damaged as much as disrupted. The bell has not only created a sound on impact, it also passed on the vibration onto the VS-Craft whose stabilizer AI was disrupted because of those sound waves. The VS-Craft engaged into landing while doing half a roll into one direction and then back into the other. The landing was rather unpleasant, but the ship seems to have stayed intact. This was Odius chance to escape and so he did. When he came out of the church, he noticed a few Scord leaving the smoking vehicle. Seems that it has been damaged to much to keep on flying and the Scord are leaving it. They haven't spotted Odius yet. Will he kill them or will he go away?

After Odius walked out from the church, there was the group of Scord, from the ship. They hadn't noticed him yet, so he actually thought of a plan. His arms were still injured and he did take a fall, he would have to surprise the Scord. The Scord from the ship broke up into two groups, these were must have been the patrol groups, there must be more inside. The two groups, had 5 in one and the other had 8. The group of eight went off in another direction, and the group of 5 came closer to him. Odius, ripped off the door from the church, he actually was struggling to hold it, his arms were hurting. He went to a corner of the church, and hide behind a wall, waiting for the group of Scord to pass. He waited about a minute or two, while the Scord made their way around the church. He heard them coming, and prepared himself for contact. The first two Scord came around the edge, Odius hit them like their bodies were a baseball. The two fell to the floor knocking back the other three. Odius went up to the two he hit, and curb stomped both of their heads.

So, he went to the direction of the sounds, and saw a man with a revolver in his hand, and the other group of Scord dead. He approached the man and waited for his reaction.
Tikoja:Tikoja finished off the last Scord with a headshot. He looked at the man before him, he was big and wore armor. His arm was injured and it looked like it was bandaged very quickly. It wouldn't do a very good job and would need to be re-done. He accessed the recorded picture of Odius in the small computer system in his eye. It was a match. His mission was almost complete and he'd be able to go back to the rebel army.

His real mission was to silence Odius. The rebel forces felt as though that Odius may end up giving away any information he had and it would be best to silence him. However, if he could get Odius to re-join he wouldn't really need to kill him. And he hated fighting anyways. It was such a bother.

Tikoja seems to be hesitating. Odius gets in and tries to get the thing up and running while Tikoja is still outside. Such a piece of Scord technology could be a huge progress for the humans. But... There was this counter that made Odius kinda nervous. He usually doesn't get nervous, but that thing had something to it. He couldn't really recognize what it was saying since it was Scord writing, but after looking at it for a minute or so Odius realizes that the countdown should be over in the next 15-20 seconds. The displayed signs suddenly turned all red...

The panel was flashing red! It must be a countdown to self-destruct, he would have to get out of there. Odius ran out of the room, then quickly ran back and punched the glass of the timer to pieces.

Around 900 Scord are heading towards us and they should be here in about half an hour. Have you any means to separate the Scord groups into smaller groups which we can attack separately then? Besides that we need to deploy some efficient weapons for shield destruction preferably at a location 5 or 10 minutes from here to weaken their defense. It might also slow them down a bit if they try to repair the damage we've dealt. We should also deploy traps around this area to make it harder for them to break through. If you can manage the shield disruptors and traps, we would be able to ambush them as well. We should be able to take down at least 100 more Scord, if not even 300 just with the initial attack. Having their number down to around 600-700 will give use a much better chance to win this battle.

L3X:The Scord fell over the rather unorganized group of humans. It was a terrible battle. Manslaughter wherever you look... L3X starts having doubts on the success rate of this battle.

L3X decides to continue the fight for now. But he has to think of something to kill many Scord at once or the humans will fall. And he has to think of it fast. The longer he takes, the lower are the chances of winning the battle in the end.
Ananda was over to the side, meanwhile, blasting down some Scord, slicing others. she looked pissed. the android who was with L3X before, and the one she called were with her, and they were fending off those who Ananda missed. She was doing better than most others.
a group of about five androids and six humans were doing their best to stay alive, but even as L3X's sensors noticed them they were overrun.
apparently someone set up some energy cannons, because some opened up and fired into the enemy group, doing some much-needed damage, but killing a sizeable number of L3X's own allies.
taking down three that came at him at once, L3X whirled around and saw Ananda about to get killed.
she's the leader. L3X might be able to take over command if she died. but, still. she's an ally. what to do?

He manages to avoid their melee weapons and takes out his all-the-time favorite, the Ethereal Blade.

The moment the energy blast hits the mech, the arm it was just about to use to smash the humans get frozen and the mech can't stretch it out to kill them. L3X fires another shot and another. The mech is immobilized and can't move. L3X runs toward it and the same moment the Scord pilots open the hatch to escape, L3X reaches the mech and slices them up just like the Scord before.

Could this be the key to victory? This was almost pure luck after all. L3X was only able to freeze the mech's arm because the pilots were not paying attention to him. They could have dodged the ice blast without big problems.

The human resistance, gaining a bit more morale, began to fight back, but the Scord's superior numbers didn't leave much for hope.

The signal is not strong yet, but L3X realized that it's something very similar like what happened so many years ago where the Scord turned the androids against the humans so he starts fighting it before it gets through to him. Even though L3X destroyed his own extern controller module, the signal is still getting through to him. It actually seems as if the signal is not forcing him or infecting his systems. No, the signal is acting rather suggestive. For this signal attack to succeed it would require L3X to actually want to give in. As long as he fights it, he's safe. At least his mind is.
as he goes into a sort of mental combat with himself, L3X stops fighitng, and doesn't really hear what Ananda is saying to him. he just keeps shouting that its a lie.
and the signal grows stronger. and a weapon responds.
now alone to fight the scord, with the few captured mechs, the humans are in a much more demoralized state.
L3X suddenly stops acting like a psychopath.

Suddenly L3X boosts into air which is only explainable by the amount of electrical energy creating a magnetic field to keep L3X hovering in the air.
The signal stopped. it would have affected L3X, but he isn't functioning in such a way at the moment to properly respond to that.
his optical sensors picked up a tall figure running through Scord ranks, snapping necks, throwing blows through Scord.
but that had no bearing.
the sound changed.
Kill the Scord, it chanted. Kill them all.
where androids were fighting themselves, they were then turning their attentions abck tot he Scord.
Not affected by the sound either L3X is suddenly realizing what just happened. He realizes that he doesn't seem to have problems maintaining this level of energy at all, but his body does. In order to prevent overheating he opens up his ice cannon and removes the diamond. Unbelievably he squeezes the diamond and it breaks into many little pieces. The diamond dust spreads over his body guided by the electrical currents.

The unknown tall figure still breaking through the Scord ranks and the androids fighting the Scord with moral like never seen before gives Ananda hope. Even though she doesn't understand what just happened, she's glad that L3X is on her side rather than on the Scord's side. Or is he? Is he on anybody's side?
Ananda decided to rally her people together, and are only firing against those that approach them.
no androids are in her group.
the Tall Figure jumps up, a move straight out of an action movie, and snaps a Scord's neck with it's legs.
androids fire their weapons with a cool precision even an android can't reach in their usual parameters.
Scord ranks fall apart, and they are on the verge of breaking.
L3X:At this moment the tall figure is close enough so L3X can actually see who it is...

BioE has pretty much cleared the part where he is off the Scord. The androids are doing well themselves and not one android or human fell ever since they started rampaging. Even though incredibly powered up, L3X hasn't been able yet to didn't want to try out an attack. He actually didn't have reason to since the androids were doing fine. But now that BioE is here... L3X pinpoints his blades to a small Scord group just slightly off the battle field. They are preparing to get into the fight to assist the others since they seem to are losing the battle after all. There must be around 20 of them and nobody has noticed L3X's pointing towards them yet. Suddenly L3X fires a massive energy beam towards the Scord group which seems to be generated partially by the blades and partially by L3X himself. The beam is not straight but rather chaotic as if L3X had a hard time channeling the energy in a straight beam. It still goes straight and is precisely aiming where L3X wanted it to impact, but it seems rather like transversal wave shape with low amplitude than a beam. The beam impacts and creates an explosion. Scord and their limbs are flying through the air. The didn't know what hit them. Seeing L3X strike down such a vast force of Scord with just one single shot gives Ananda and her group hope and strength. Yes, it is a massacre and it's horrible. But right now it's about killing or be killed. There is no place for the weak on this battlefield. BioE also notices L3X destructive power, but he doesn't seem surprised.
the BioE struck another blow into a Scord, and turned, staring straight at L3X now. it smiles, and turns around, pointing a finger at an enemy, and a laser goes flying through it, into another enemy in the middle of a group, where the Scord partially explodes, and staggers the surrounding units, leaving them open for the androids to wipe them clean.
this battle is almost over. the appearance of BioE, and L3X's increased state of efficiency, has nearly won the fight.
and looking upon the area far away, with some form of a looking glass, from a Scord's version of a helicopter, a Scord in armor different than normal, looks upon the battle. it turns to someone else.

L3X once had a face-off of sorts with this creature.

L3X:L3X also takes immediate action. He bluntly fires a hyper beam with his new gained power towards the dragon. The dragon gets hit, but it didn't to be very effective... BioD fires a fireball from its mouth towards L3X just to notice a moment later that L3X isn't there anymore and that the fireball goes into nothing. L3X is flying from straight above towards BioD and smacks him right into the ground.

Odius & Tikoja:The VS-Craft explodes. Tikoja gets thrown back right into a wall. The path that Odius came from gets blocked by concrete from a building that the explosion damages which means he can't get to Tikoja at all. Suddenly there is another explosion not far away.
L3X:L3X's ice cannon is currently being used to keep him cool so the damage taken by the fire stream isn't too heavy. He manages to stabilize in midair in a blocking stance.

upon coming out, L3X sees the rest of the Scord have been routed, and that all the human forces are focused on the dragon. nets have been tossed around it, to hinder its movement, but little seems to be affecting it at all.
BioE has been pelting it with laser after laser, and has broken some scales with fists, and is at that moment pounding on the area behind its neck.

the Dragon moved swiftly, avoiding the beam, and shaking off the nets, it let out a loud roar, as BioE took off one of the scales on its neck.
the Dragon flew and grabbed L3X with a claw, and threw him down to the ground.

and the thing explodes, but not before an escape pod carrying a single Scord flew off. it wasn't big enough to carry a computer.
in the background, the Dragon's roar could be heard even here. suddenly, a larger explosion sounded from the ruined VS Craft, and upon inspection, L3X found a sizeable computer, still giving off readings for a few seconds before flashing: SYSTEM FAILURE, ACTIVATING BACKUP BIOD SYSTEMS.
then it gave a countdown, and L3X flew away.
but, wait. if the first explosion was the VS Craft itself, and the last one the computer... what exploded the second time?

L3X returns to the dragon quickly. He finds BioE still attacking it.

within moments it stopped moving.
BioE climbed out, and the sound became different, and stopped affecting the androids, who began looking around confusedly.
it whispered to the Dragon to be obedient. to cease fighting.
the Dragon stopped floundering, and the sound changed again, ordering it to fly, as soon as the BioE was ontop of it.
BioE spared a glance for L3X, smiling, almost pityingly, and with another change to the sound, they were flying off at speeds L3X could not keep up with.
and besides, he was exhausting. he needed repairs.

L3X lands close to Ananda. He turns off HP-mode first which boosted his powers synced to his energy consumption unlike usually. Then he disables the electrical field around his body. At the same moment one blade vanishes and the other goes back to its original size. At that moment L3X collapses and the blade gets turned off. His power is almost drained completely and it's cloudy so he can't recharge for now. Surprisingly the diamond dust on his metallic body doesn't fall off.

as L3X's systems began shutting off due to lack of power, he could make out Ananda shouting off a few commands.
he couldn't be sure what they were, but he hoped he'd be able to get some repairs doen soon.
as he fell into a shutdown, his last sensors indicated that the cold spot was growing worse.

Not knowing how much time has passed since he shut down, L3X "wakes up". His power level seems to be higher now.
a familiar voice is heard. apparently quite a bit of time has gone by

and so, Ray set to work. he did repairs to the legs as much as he could, and told L3X about the reports they were recieving. the cold spot was spreading, but in some places it has stopped. Scord movements appear to be random, but as the days go on, they all appear to be heading for one place. Mutants are popping up where no mutants were before, who groups of androids have gone missing, and theyve heard tell of what might be another BioWeapon.
one scout found a village completely empty, one whole section of the place burned down. at first it was thought that the village was attacked, but in truth it was found a pot caught fire because it was left on a stove when everyone vanished, and caught the house on fire, which caught other places on fire via a chain reaction.
Kyle is amassing the Scord Scorchers into a place in southern Asia, and not telling anyone why, Kya has arrived, and every night it is apparent that she dissapears, though where she goes Kyle claims not to know.
and a myriad of other things, skirmishes, battles, there was even one story about a whole group of the blob-men who kept reforming. that battle quickly turned into a rush for retreat.

Let me just summarize what equipment I have... I have my good old Ethereal Blade and my Plasma gun. My additional weapon slot is currently used by my ice cannon. Kyle got me a new diamond for it so I can shoot ice blasts like before. I still have the particle accelerator built into my ice cannon which allows me to shoot beams of fire energy loaded with ice power which create an explosive effect on impact. My "normal" HP-Mode is basically still consuming 400%-500% energy for up to 200% power, but if I direct my ice cannon with the particle accelerator into my energy systems, I can create a heavy electrical field around myself with two Ethereal Blades double the size of a normal blade that causes my power to match my energy consumption. Let's say that is my new "SP-Mode" as in "Super Power Mode", hehe... There's no way I'm gonna use the old configuration for the HP-Mode except if I have no time to boot up my energy systems. Too bad my fire-ice beam is no available then. At least I can fire energy beams channeled through my Ethereal Blades. And last but not least... The diamond dust is still merged into body... This gives me around 10% more resistance against any physical damage and can keep my systems cool under extremely high heat or while I am in SP-Mode. I have made quite some progress... My battle capacity is large as is my experience. I can take on more than 15 Scord at once without any extra powers.
and as L3X flew, others planned. the Scord operations kicked up, as L3X sped toward the people, the cold spot stopped growing, covering most of Europe. the 'eye' of the cold spot is a perpetual blizzard.
and L3X is all to aware of the signal he emits, allowing BioE to pinpoint his location at any time.
as he thought, he came upon the people, and found no familiar faces. except one that shot out from some database hidden in L3X's systems. a file, on this person.
a name didn't come to mind, but the person was in the area of the United States, according to the file. a leader of some movement. the exact movement, however, was lost to him.
as L3X stepped off the Drifter, the man, and his companions, turned towards him.

Tikoja was thrown back into a wall when the aircraft exploded. He fell to the floor and sat down. His back was terribly sore. He wasn't paying attention to the recent events due to the fact that he suffered from ADHD. As a result, he zoned out for the past five minutes. He noticed his pathway back to Odius was blocked and it would be futile to head that way.
Suddenly an explosion occured and Tikoja got up and went to investigate, rubbing his back on the way.

Hopefully Tikoja has come to his senses, because it's about to get nasty. Another explosion can be heard... As Tikoja runs towards the sound of the explosion he notices something in the far. It's flying and it's big, really big. It is a huge Scord Battleship. They seem to be trying to destroy the ruins, but why? As Tikoja gets closer he realizes that it may be a good idea to get in cover. There are several VS-Crafts supporting the battleship. Suddenly Tikoja spots a VS-Craft that lands. The Scord slowly get out. They are carrying some weird looking equipment with them. It doesn't seem to be combat equipment. They actually seem to be carrying no weapons at all. Is this a good oppoturnity to kill them and take over the VS-Craft?

Tikoja spotted the scord who were unarmed. He could have just left, after all, his mission had nothing to do with this but he wanted to find out what was going on. Tikoja readies his eye and his gun and takes careful aim. He took account the wind and his distance and aimed at the group of Scord. He'd have to make the next few shots count. If he didn't, a battle would most likely brew, which he didn't want. He pressed his hand on the trigger and fired 6 shots into the group of Scord with great accuracy.

Surprisingly each shot was a full hit. All 6 Scord are killed in the gun fire and Tikoja has no obstacle between him and the VS-Craft.

Tikoja reloaded his revolver while looking at the surrounding area. He knew it was work to have to pay attention but it'd have been more work if he was ambushed unsuspectingly. He approached the VS-Craft but rather than boarding it, Tikoja looks at the weird equipment they were carrying.
What was it?

This is a serious problem. The Scord mothership seems to be somewhere in North America. What is going on...?
Tikoja:The weird equipment looks like sensors. The Scord seem to be searching for something. Tikoja has an opportunity to either hijack the VS-Craft, take the equipment for analysis about what they are doing or both. What will he do? And if he takes the equipment, where will he take it?

Tikoja looked at the sensors. Perhaps they were looking for something, but it was something big. They sent out quite a force to look for something. It must've been something big or atleast something important. If that was the case, he knew the scord couldn't have it. He thought for a moment on what he would do next. He could hijack the VS-Craft nearby him but the last one had exploded when Odius approached it so Tikoja wasn't so sure. He could bring the sensors back to the rebels and they'd send a sizable force to deal with the problem. He could also look for Odius and team up with him. He decided he'd attempt to hijack the VS-Craft. He entered it and looked around for explosives.
What happens next?

L3X flew off towards the signal in North America; the Mothership. he estimated that after his arrival he'd only have about two, maybe three hours before the Scord launches their offensive. he would have to act fast.
L3X:(You said we were in Asia, Ulta.)
After a few hours of flight L3X can see something at the horizon. The mothership is even bigger than he imagined. Even though he fought in the last Scord War, he never actually got to see a mothership. He only remembered the signal that was sent a couple of hours before the massive attack.

Tikoja messes around with the controls and the VS-Craft seems to be booting up. Tikoja takes a seat as there is suddenly a small display showing up which seems to be asking for a password or something like that. Tikoja enters something quickly without knowing what's it about. The CS-Craft takes off without problems. But something isn't right... The VS-Craft is flying by itself! By the time Tikoja notices that he's not in control of the VS-Craft, it's too late. It's already too high above the ground to be able to open the hatch and jump down. Tikoja has no choice but to sit down and wait for the VS-Craft to reach its destination which seems to be the larger Scord battleship. As the VS-Craft with Tikoja slowly approaches the battleship, he starts feeling dizzy. His senses seem to be fading away slowly and the large battleship outside looks more and more like a big blur spot rather than a spaceship. Just now Tikoja notices that odd smell in the air. It's knockout gas. Tikoja starts to panic and gets up, but the gas is already too deep in his organism. Tikoja passes out and falls on the floor, luckily not breaking a bone.
After a couple of hours Tikoja wakes up. He notices that he's in some kind of cell. He's most probably on the battleship. It's rather odd that the Scord take prisoners, but this seems to be what is happening here. Suddenly a Scord accompanied with two other heavily armed Scord enters the room. The Scrod walks slowly towards Tikoja's cell. Then he presses some buttons on the side and a small hole opens in the energy field containing Tikoja. He throws something into Tikoja's cell. It's looks like a small plug, easily fitting into an ear. Tikoja first hesitates. But after the Scord mimics with his hands to plug it into his ear, Tikoja decides to give it a shot.

what should L3X do? attempt to hijack a VS-Craft, or make for the mothership immediately? time ticked down, and L3X would have to think swiftly. he had only a few hours. taking over a mothership, alone, would take a long time, if it was possible at all. he could just attempt to destroy the thing.
Tikoja: Tikoja spat at the scord. He wasn't about to tell them anything even if he did know. Tikoja had his eye scan for the location of his gun. He'd located it.

L3X decides to hijack one of the VS-Crafts. This would be the best way to get on the mothership undetected. L3X goes for it when he arrives. He takes down on of the scout groups and hijacks their VS-Craft. About the same thing happens to him that happened to Tikoja. After entering the wrong activation sequence, the VS-Craft returns to the mothership automatically... Luckily the sleeping gas has no effect on L3X as he is a synthetic, not an organic lifeform.

After a few minutes L3X enters the mothership. From a closeup it looks even larger than from far away. The VS-Craft lands on a marked spot and several Scord surround the aircraft. They open the hatch and slowly enter the aircraft. Oddly enough there is nobody there... "Maybe the reactivation countdown just expired and the ship simply returned by itself? No... The console clearly states that a wrong activation code was entered. But where could the intruder be?" That is pretty much what the Scord face expressions and behavior can tell L3X about what the Scord are talking about... Obviously L3X is well hidden but still able to spy on the Scord.

Just now that Tikoja hears those Scord words, he realizes what just happened. Sadly enough the electrocution from before didn't paralyze his pain detecting nerves. The spike ran straight through his leg and it hurt like hell. He looks down and realizes that it probably damaged, if not even destroyed, the distress signal emitter. The general probably had no idea it was there.
This is a nasty situation. It seems that his survival depends on his next few words. Well... Best case scenario would be that the general runs another spike through Tikoja's leg or one through his other leg. But what will happen if he tells them something...? Sure, nobody knows about Tikoja, but he could lie about it. That would get him back into his cell and away from this chair of pain and torture while the general checks on that. This could give him enough time to think of an escape plan and to take care of his wound. It would be a very bad idea to leave it untreated, Tikoja could bleed to death.

and so L3X moved. he encountered a few more Scord along the way, but took care of all of them quietly. he wasn't sure, but he estimated that sometime within ten minutes the Scord would find their fallen comrades and alert the mothership. and then thigns would get really tough.
L3X:L3X arrives at the first location as suddently the alarm goes off.

surprisingly, he made it to the next room using clever tactics like hiding in closed closets(Scord ships have closets?) and using the vents(and vents, too? O.o). you know, Not Standard Spy Stuff That Every Enemy Should Check Before Concluding A Spy Is Not In The Room. certainly it isnt.
anyway L3X made it to the next location, only having to take out three scord with their own weapon.
he was right, it was powerful. and versatile, he found out. that last one he had cut down with an energy blade not unlike his ether blade.
L3X:Once again L3X is not very lucky. This isn't the engine room, either. But instead of the enging room he found something better. It's some sort of control room that indicates where the fusion reactor is.

and he has to rush. he's taken longer than he expected, and L3X has only about forty minutes to blow this ship up, and escape, while escaping the ship.
it might not be worth it to destroy the mothership if L3X dies.
Odius:
The ship exploded, Odius had already found some cover, luckily. The blast collapsed the near buildings around him. He seemed to be sealed off from Tikoja completely. Surprisingly, Odius, was not covered in debris from the building. Several pieces of metal and roofing, provided some protection from the other debris. The down side to this, was that there was no way out, unless he were to smash through.

L3X has no other choice to escape the mothership. He activates SP-Mode. He rushes into midair. Channeling his full energy he releases an energy beam straight towards the bottom. And not just that! He flies right after his won beam, powering it up more and more, breaking through the armor plating of the mothership. Metal and plastic fly through the air as L3X passes through the vaious floors. Suddenly he comes along a very heavily armored floor. It takes him a moment until he breaks through it, but it's way too short for the Scord to follow L3X and actually do something about it. L3X breaks through the very bottom of the mothership, leaving him still 7 minutes to get away as far as possible. First he rushes vertically downwards, but then he uses his newly gained SP-Mode power to fly and abruptly changes his direction to a total horizontal direction. He's flying as fast as possible to escape the explosion and so the mothership doesn't drop onto him when it falls from the sky. Soon he manages to get away from beneath the mothership and it's not even one moment too early... The fusion reactors explode in the distance. L3X turns around not to miss this spectacular show. He's flying pretty much backwards and still away from the mothership which slowly starts catching fires everywhere and descending.

They are still in bandages and hurt a bit, but Odius feels that the strength has returned to them. Suddenly a woman enters the room. She looks like tough fighter, but still having a very erotic female touch to her.

Odius: Odius was looking for this manhole, when suddenly everything went black. It seemed he had fell into a deep sleep, he started to dream.
Dream:
There was a bright flash of light, then he awoke in a grassy field. He got up and look around, but he noticed he wasn't seeing everything at his regular height. Odius look down at his body, and surprisingly it resembled one of a child. At that moment he had a strong feeling he was dreaming. Seconds later, he heard a voice of a little girl.

a pulse flew out from the thing. really, it nearly lifted L3X from the ground - it set the wind to a turmoil. then another. and a silence crept. the wind died. the thing still seemed to pulse, but nothing seemed to happen.
it was all very confusing. L3X couldn't make out what it was. yet.
and among all, L3X sensed BioE approaching. well, he wasn't really sure it was BioE, but the Biologically created Elf would tend to show up when the signal L3X was emitting even then grew stronger, if last time was any indication.
it was a giant metal box, that Must have grown in size since the mothership was destroyed, based on its general height. L3X also thought he saw the metal, and other destroyed material, from the mothership was being absorbed into it. he watched the spectacle, suddenly unable to think of a course of action.
another, stronger pulse came out and tore grass from its roots, toppled a tree somewhere, and even sent L3X flying a meter or two into the dirt. when L3X stood the metal box seemed to invert and implode, like what you'd imagine a star would do right before going supernova.
then a - well, not exactly a roar, nor exactly a sound... a feeling, really - a loud feeling shot forth from the creature. and L3X felt the presence of mind from the thing despite being an android. what was it? he still couldn't make it out with all the dust flying everywhere. well, dirt flying everywhere, actually.

Tikoja scratched his head. He followed the Scord to where a VS-Craft was. This was going to be tough to explain to the higher-ups. How'd it stray so far from just trying to retrieve Odius? He wondered how the higher-ups would react. He wondered if they'd believe him. Such stories would get him put in a looney bin he figured. His thoughts continued to drift on until he realized he had no idea where Odius was. He had several options when he returned to Earth. He could track Odius, he could return to the rebel forces, or he could track down the android L3X that the scord mentioned. From what he heard, L3X was an important person involved in this. Tikoja sighed, why did he sign up for the army again? He decided to track L3X once he was on Earth. An android of that strength shouldn't be too hard to find, right?
Tikoja:The Scord Commando accompanied Tikoja to the VS-Craft.

L3X:L3X has a hard to see what's going on so he decides to burst up in the air while still in SP-Mode to try to get a clear look from the sky. He actually dares to slowly approach the heavy metal object.
Tikoja: Tikoja wasn't really paying attention to the Scord. He was worried about his parents. He looked at the Scord and decided he'd ask it about L3X and it's wherabouts. And just when the Scord was about to leave, Tikoja decided to ask.

the metal, now fully in L3X's vision since hte dust settled, starting forming itself into something. it looked something like an android. then it shifted more, and metallic wings grew from it, and what appeared to be the same energy as the kind from his Ether Blade sprouted out of it. L3X noticed the metallic thing had created a field around itself in much the same fashion as the flight part of L3X's SP Mode.
it flew up near L3X. for some reason, L3X felt curious about the creature, and knew the creature felt curious back.
what would L3X do about this creature?

but it isn't going anywhere. jsut studying L3X. a marvel, and as L3X studied it, he sensed other similarities beside the energy field and Ether. it seemed to be able to duplicate a number of L3X's abilities. combatal and otherwise. not all, strangely. nothing L3X could sense in it showed a copy of L3X's ability to restart himself.
L3X simply could not tell what the thing was, other than that it was purely metal.
the thing slowly turned its head to examine the ground below, and L3X realized a lot more time had passed than he thought. he also never remembered havign such curiosity before.
and BioE showed up. strangely, that didn't seem as imperative as L3X knew it should.
how would L3X respond?
L3X:
Getting so close to it L3X realized how small it actually was. It seemes gigantic from the far, but now it seems to be maybe only twice as big as L3X. It actually seems to be getting smaller. Was it getting smaller all the time? L3X realizes that this pretty much defies all physical laws and logic.
Even BioE's appearance didn't startle L3X. L3X noticed it, but he actually pretty much ignored BioE and focused on this weird being. Oddly enough L3X didn't try to analyze it with any kind of scanners, he was only watching it and thinking about it. L3X could have snapped out of it anytime, but he didn't want to. He has never seen something intriguing as this in his entire "life".
Tikoja:
Tikoja pilots the VS-Craft, and surprisingly, it indeed was a lot easier than piloting some of the aircraft that humans had developed. Tikoja looks at the device and tries to figure out L3X's location. He sighed, he thought this would be easy. It seemed far from it. He continued to fly the VS-Craft towards where he thought the device was indicating where L3X was.
the thing apparently thought the same of L3X as emotions seemed to flood L3X's artificial mind. making some sense of them, after a while - he was stunned to stillness for a second, shockingly - he came to the conclusion the thing was wondering what L3X was.
Tikoja:
Tikoja is unsure how much time has passed every since he came aboard the Scord fleetship. He continued his flight in the direction the device was indicating until the device suddenly started reacting. L3X must be quite close nearby, maybe only several kilometers ahead. He saw something floating in the sky far away as well. Could that be L3X? The floating being was descending slowly from what Tikoja could see. He wasn't able to see them with his own eyes, but if the readings of the VS-Craft were correct, there seemed to be two more individuals on the ground.
L3X:
L3X decides to approach the being slowly. As did the being. While L3X was moving slowly towards the metallic creature, it began to descend slowly. A few moments later it landed right in front of L3X. L3X was just looking at it for a moment. Then he deactivated SP-Mode. He slowly stretched out his arm with his palm up in a friendly manner. The being seemed to be curious about L3X's actions.
BioE just stood there, for some reason nodding occasionally.
the creature continued to study L3X.

the creature turned back to L3X, and more emotions flooded his circuits.
they seemed to ask a question, but L3X could not decipher what it was.
what was this creature? L3X felt an overbearing NEED to study the thing in front of him.
L3X:
L3X takes a look toward the "random direction", but he can't spot anything. Does the creature want to be followed by L3X in that direction?

L3X began to detect a large aircraft. from what he could sense of it, a VS-Craft was coming closer. more Scord technology.

Tikoja: Tikoja looked at the creature puzzled and then shrugged his shoulders. He knew tracking L3X down would be an awkward option but he didn't expect it to be this odd. His eyes darted around, scanning the place he landed in, completely ignoring the creature. Tikoja assumed the creature was probably going to persist on him providing information.

the Creature affected a smile as L3X began to talk to Tikoja, and then it simply dissapeared from L3X's senses.
Tikoja was surprised when the other thing simply vanished in thin air. what was it, anyway?
BioE was gritting his teeth, but L3X felt that it was an action designed to intimidate, not an ezpression of lossing anger.
the meatbag stood in front of him, that was mor eiportant. BioE said he had been captured by the Scord. and he'd showed up in a VS-Craft.
what is L3X's next move? for that matter, what is Tikoja's?

L3X's mechanical ears began to ring and he nearly collapsed from the resultant pain. As L3X stood up, the Tripod changed into a human-shape. AS L3X zoomed he in, he could tell it had angel-like wings now. other than that it looked effectively the same as last time L3X had seen it.
L3X knw he was still no match for the creature, but he knew it was challenging him, for some reason. it just stayed there, floating in midair, waiting.

the thing moved it's arm up, and the attack deflected off to the ground. A loud Scrooshing sound could be heard as it connected.
the thing shook it's head, and imitated the dual ether blade. it spun twice, and somehow, large shockwaves flew out at L3X.
whatever it is, it's tough.
L3X blocked the shockwave. It was powerful, but not powerful enough. It was spread out after all so it's possible that L3X got only part of it which he could block without major problems. L3X activates his Beam Cannon.

Even though L3X is still checking out the situation properly, he has some kind of "feeling" that he will end up with rerouting all his power into his Ether Blades for close combat with ocassional firing an energy stream through his blades. But for now L3X uses his weapons to see how they work. He fires a constant beam towards the creature that cannot be deflected, only blocked. He s curious how much effort the creature needs to block such an attack and for how long it can keep up the same power level while blocking. In other words: How much energy does it need to spend to block the attack for a while.

the thing extended it's hand out, and the laser seemed to hit an invisible barrier a few feet away from the hand. This went on for about twenty seconds before the creature of metal made a flicking motion and L3X's gun shortcircuited.
no matter how L3X would have liked to respond to this action, he did not have time, because the creature suddenly began rushing L3X, a laser gun deisgned similarly to L3X's own releasing a scatter-shot, as if it was firing a shotgun continuously.

Following his original idea to hold back and to release an overpowered burst of energy to be able to perform dangerous attacks that work only for one short moment, he's flying towards the creature at high speed. The creature stops shooting. (Little environmental control FTW. xD) It obviously expects L3X to execute a melee attack. While in flight, L3X attaches his left hand back onto his left arm and prepares for a single powerful slash with his right Ether Blade. He moves his right hand towards his shoulder to prepare the slash. But...
Immediately a few meters before the creature something odd happens. The very moment L3X starts moving his arm to perform the slash from upper left to down right, he seems to fade away. The creature can still see L3X moving towards it and moving his arm, but it's as if L3X is dematerializing during his move. He slashes right through the creature. Nothing happens at that moment as if there was no slash. L3X moves further. He actually moves through the creature! He ends up being behind the creature.

What happened here? It's simple. L3X overpowered himself for one attack so quickly that it destabilized his atoms, allowing to move through the creature like electromagnetic radiation. Due to the high moving speed, he was able to keep this state up for less than a nanosecond, just enough time to move through the creature. So for one moment L3X was pure energy and no matter. When he was behind the creature, his matter stabilized again, he lost his velocity almost instantly and continued his slash move which ended up looking like a circular 360° slash.

It was a good move L3X used. the creatre didn't move. It stood floating there. sddenly L3X felt a sharp pain in his left hand.
the creature turned to stare at L3X. It's 'wing' refolded back to it's previous position. a little fizzing sound was heard. the air sounded angry.
the creature walked in mid-air and swiped it's hand, smmoning little energy balls in the are his hand was in. it walked through them. he did this three more times. Then it created it's own Ether blade, mimicking L3X.
the tiny balls exploded, releasing waves of energy heading straight for L3X. he could not see what happened to his opponent, but suddenly none of L3X's sensors could pick up it's signal.
L3X suddenly didn't mind losing his opponent out of sight. Something happened while he was dematerialized and "flowing" though the creature... L3X deactivates SP-Mode and then reactivates it with 100% with a heavy energy burst.

L3X's chest recieved a powerful blow as the creature he was fighting reappeared in front of him, punch already thrown and contact already made.
L3X was flying away from the creature, still surprised from the quick attack. Rather than stopping in mid air and attacking he reroutes his flying root, turns around in a wide circle to save as much speed as possible. Then he starts flying towards the creature again. It also seems that L3X now can route energy through his body much better. He activates his Ether Blades and concentrates all powers into the very peaks of those energy blades. He pinpoints the blades towards the creature and starts spinning like a drill. L3X has turned his body into a drilling projectile with massive impact power. How will the creature handle this?
it puts its hand up, much in the way that it did when blocking an earlier attack, and grabbed the ether blades, and stopping L3X's movement instantaneously. the resultant backlash sent a shockwave of air throughout the region: some trees, if they were there, would fall over.
the metallic lifeform grabbed L3X's arm, and began to reroute the electric impulses throughout L3X's systems somehow.
What could it be up to now?!
L3X deactivates his Ether Blades before everything goes wrong. He can escape the grasp of the creature and then backs off from the creature. In fact it's quite a distance he backs off.

L3X bursts with energy. Obviously this is some sort of critical limit that L3X can reach for now. L3X repeats the attack from the last time, but this time without the Ether Blades. He bursts forward and the energy dissipation around him is so high and bright in color that it looks almost like he's a meteorite ready to smash into the creature.
Even the creature didn't seem to expect this. L3X bursts with full speed and full power into the creature. In fact the energy surrounding L3X is so intense that it's actually travelling in front of L3X. It covers the creature before L3X physically reaches the creature.

The thing vanished as the attack hit - almost as if it was vaporized. L3X knew better though. after the attack was over, he looked at the ground. the creature was on the floor, holding onto itself, apparently injured. L3X uses his sensors to check just how much he harmed it.
however... he can't. his sensors aren't working. the thing stares up at L3X, and it's eyes alone say 'didn't expect this?' as more systems suddenly begin shutting down. He used too much energy - optical sensors down, mechanical ligaments locking up. Reacting fast, L3X was able to land and maintain little control over himself.

As L3X is almost at the ground, the rest of his systems shut down except his basic movement. From descending he goes over into falling and crashes into the ground. But since he wasn't so high above the ground when that happened, he didn't accelerate enough for the crash to cause serious damage. L3X fell right in front of Mechana.

L3X puts himself into deep sleeping mode where he's not keeping track of his surroundings to maximally save energy. It might take a couple days, but due to his solar power cells, L3X will be able to leave this place after a couple of days of energy collecting. Even if one day would be actually enough since his Air Drifter is close by, he decides to take a few days off.
and when he wakes up, the area he was in, which previously had atleast some trees, was now a desolate wasteland. what could have happened within those few days?
he tried to contact Kyle, but found that he couldn't. Something big had happened while he was out of commission. could this be the work of the BioE?
or... was there some other kind of motive to Mechana's fight with L3X?
L3X tries to find his Air Drifter. He is lucky and it seemed to be undamaged. Some heavy rocks were moved in the last few days and a couple of the covered the Air Drifter from a few sides, almost acting like a shield. Sure, it has scratches and some of the vehicle body is deformed at some places, but it's nothing serious enough to prevent it from activating and flying. Just now L3X seems to become aware what has actually happened.

And so L3X boots up the Air Drifter and is on his way to Asia where he last met Kyle. When he arrives after a couple of hours with supersonic speed, he finds something he didn't quite expect...
along the way, he noticed pretty sporadic destruction. some entire fields would be gone, except for five trees, or five trees would be gone and the rest of a field left intact. and when he arrived at the Scord Scorchers' base, L3X saw Mechana again. except that when L3X scanned him this time, he realized that the creature would hardly be harmed by the attack that fried L3X's systems. L3X had a sound buzzing in his mechanical ears again, like when the Bio-Dragon was showing up.

and without another word Mechana's vision faded from L3X's optical sensors. the mechanical creature had left the area.
there was rubble. Would L3X search through it, or will he do something else?

After a while L3X comes across a few weapons. Almost all of them are destroyed except for one. It was as if a heavy energy, probably a beam, had hit the weapons and destroyed them and as if that one sole weapon was just quite close, but didn't get hit. Most of the weapons looked like they were molten on torn apart. L3X seems to feel some sort of excitement when reaching out to grab the intact weapon. The moment he touches the weapon, he realizes something. This weapon has been touched by Mechana's energy beam just enough that it did something to it. The weapon was not alive or something, but it felt powerful and self-sustaining. Just about now L3 recognizes the weapon. It's a combined module for his series that featured a better Ether Blade and a different beam cannon that was supposed to be way more resistent to heat. L3X first decides to switch this weapon for his. But then he changes his mind as he remembers that he can carry a weapon on each hand. He removes the old weapona and puts it into his left arm while he implements this new weapon into his right arm where the old weapon was.

L3X decides to keep searching. Maybe he can find spare parts to repair the damage that he has caused to himself a few days ago in the fight with Mechana. And maybe he can find some better parts that provide more protection.

I would have to turn my energy pattern into the same pattern as Mechana's. But... I am afraid that this power is somehow corrupting Mechana. It wasn't nearly as violent when we first met. And it wasn't nearly as powerful... In any case I need to be careful and I have to think of something...
While L3X keeps on searching, he seems to be hoping to find a survivor.
he finds some random man coughing underneath some rubble, looking as if he hadn't eaten in days.

BioF spoke. it had a sort of underlying tone to it's voice. at first thought calm, but when you really listened, rage permeated every word it pronounced. What kind of creature was BioF?

L3X smacks his hand into the ground, catapults himself into a normal standing position, activates SP-Mode for a part of a second and moves with such speed that for BioE it seemed as if L3X suddenly appeared in front of him on BioD's head even though he did quite a number of moves to travel the distance he's been kicked away. L3X has gained quite a bit of speed since the last time he fought BioE. BioE on one hand is surprised by L3X appearing in front of him. On the other hand he's not. It's probably because Mechana was able to do something similar even if with much higher speed.

now that L3X took the moment to actually look at BioF's body, he noticed it had several things seemingly mix-matched. It had a long, sharp-ended tail, and BioF's skin color was a deep red. Blades attached themselves to certain strands of BioF's hair. F had a closed eye extending on his left fore-arm. The same area on his left arm seemed to occassionally have something move beneath it. small, decorative wings, unattached to BioF's body, floated behind his shoulder blades. from the back of his head was a single, long, horn-like structure, which looked able to skewer someone.

they came upon where BioF was released, apparently. The scientists in the hologram were very flustered. all of them were quite disturbed at the lack of control they apparently had on everything.
Something crashed through the ceiling. a small chip. the hologram ended.
