hey yall i was wondering if anyone can do a script that adds stat bonuses to the player for having a complete sets of armor etc.

example:( if a players has this set)
Pangril Armor       
Pangril Helmet
Pangril Shield
Pangril Boots

the full set bonus would be something like
HP+100
MP+40
attack+15
defense+15

HP/SP Plus Add-on from Tons of Add-ons adds HP and SP increases/decreases to armors and weapons. :3

I think he means by having a set of armor, you gain more bonus.

like if you have all the armor on in the set you gain stat bonuses instead of gaining stats from each piece individually

example
Pangril set:
Pangril Armor       
Pangril Helmet
Pangril Shield
Pangril Boots

if the player only has on the armor,helmet,and shield without the boots
the player wont gain any bonus unless he has the boots equiped too

You can do that with events...hold on
It's really simple because you can do that for every set of armor that you want to have stat bonuses on, just add the new armor at the end of the first's branch. set the common event to parallel, and have the switch be called at the beginning of the game.

You'll have to use a switch for it as well. You turn it on when you increase the stats and don't allow increasing the stats again. As soon as you put it off, you need to decrease the stats if the switch is on and turn off the switch. Wait, I'll make a screeny.

hey zeriab i tried your way of doing it but in doesnt seem to work can you send a small demo so i can see exactly how you did it..if it aint to much trouble

I admit that I change the maxhp and maxsp instead of the hp/sp. So it does not do the same as Blizz's version.
I have tested my version and if you have the same version as I it works.

wow it must have ben a big party :P

It's kinf of like Blizzard's Soul Rage, Soul Limit System's thing where you can up their stats upon weapon equipment, except this needs to have the whole set. I bet if Blizz if feeling lucky, he could incorporate this sometime in the fututre... ::)

Actually, I did give it a thought. I realized that making a script for it though wouldn't be any easier than the common event system. In fact, it would complicate things, so I suggest you use the common event.
