Everything is wow except the double-lined circle which covers the text. It looks aliased. Maybe you could recreate the circles?

EDIT: Oh, *powers up*

I tried both Gimp and paint.NET but after using photoshop for so long... I've given up -_-'

Give it something around the edges... like a Stroke, or some inner glow/shadow... I don't care for how it 'just stops' at the edges... you know what I mean? It is pretty cool though... I like the wolf.

yeh i know what you mean. i was thinking of a border but afta some thought i changed my mind becuase i cant find a border that i think looks good.

i will play around with the edges till it looks better.

thanks

p.s. if any one has some good tutorial in video format to help with gimp could you please tell me where i can watch them

Behind the wolf I see a lot of gradient use or something along those lines that aren't really...I don't know, I feel you can easily do more with the back. The wolf is awesome nonetheless, it blends really nicely with the whole image. The text however...you need to make it easier to read and remove the funny white stuff.

Play around, play around. Use layer effects if you can. You don't really need a tutorial, just experiment with every feature and remember what each does.

yeh i used gradients for a background, i used it becuase someone shown me there sig useing that and it looked really good.

iv got some free time today so i will work on it.

edit

just added another. i played with the wolf part to make him transparent (i accidently placed him in the wrong area by about 2 pixels but i cant be bothered to change it yet) i like the background to it. but the text isnt perfect so im going to play with that to make it look better.

so what do you all think of it, also this is my second image to be kind :P

You're right, the text isn't perfect. It's extremely dull...But glad you're going to change that soon. It's a nice background that seems to fit even more with the wolf. However, something like this can be made on Paint (With a lot more effort of course) except for the wolf image. Try using some big GIMP features when it comes to the background, if you can.

yeh i know you can do this with paint, im just learning how to use gimp at the moment. and im just using the simple features first. then i'll start looking at the things i have to idea how to use.

i think i perfer the first one for the moment but when im better at using all the features i chould make somthing that looks professional.
