Title: Need Help with Blizz-Abs Sprite
Post by: Landith on November 25, 2008, 09:28:25 pm
Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum and I'm not very good at spriting so I was wondering if someone could make a bow attack for this character

I could help someone out somehow if they can do this request.  I've tried many time but never could get it even close to good..  :(

I'm using blizz-abs if it matters

Oh and this is what I want the bow to look like if it's no problem. (http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/220/linkbowrb6.png)

Thanks in advance :^_^':

you know... I really think someone should start a full RTP BlizzABS sprite conversion thread... Imagine having ALL the resources needed to make an epic BizzABS game as soon as you DL the package... epic.

I just hope that people will not be disappointed when you suddenly don't have to use such big files with the slightly irregular positions. ._.;

Oh, are you fixing that little annoyance in the future then? (Or does it work in 2.0 already...? O.o)

No it doesn't. Using the old sprites will cause a problematic behavior with animations then.

Ok, sorry I didn't quite get my answer in there...

Are you saying that as of now we can use normal positions on spritesets for BlizzABS animations?

And will it SUPPORT a larger than average file?

I could line up all the original RTP sprites no problem but, I can't do weapons for anything or separate actor animations (Like what Satoh^^ did for Blizzard's Ariana sprite)

Although, it wouldn't help just to line it up because it would look like the weapon is swinging by itself so I guess I couldn't really help lol

I don't know if lining them up would even be necessary... If I understand what Blizz said, the spritesets are able to be used in standard arrangement...

Oh, that would make it really easy to use Blizz Abs because spriting is the hard part lol

But would that work with weapons because you need enough room to make staffs and long weapons?

Like I said, I don't know how it's supposed to work yet... but I think that's what he meant...

Yeah, it would be a really big job for one person but with the help of Chaos Project we could get it done and Blizz-ABS would be the best ABS out there, well an even better ABS than it is now since it's already the best ABS out there lol :)

But back to topic, can anyone help me?

I could probably make one in a week. Those blizzABS poses don't take that long (At least with humans). lets wait until he reworks the sprite handling engine, though.

Alright that sounds great :)

Edit:
Bump?

Edit2:
Bump. Again.
I could  really use this to add a playable character to add to my abs game. :)
