does someone have a tutorial for scripting for a n00b 0_o ?

The first topic is for Beginners like you and the second topic are for the Intermediate to Experts of RGSS Scripting.
There should be a chat conversation between Blizzard and mumerus lying around here somewhere that gives a VERY good explanation of basic scripting, but I can't seem to find that.
I was once at you point where I was an entire noob at scripting you will notice that the intermediate to expert scripting tut says that it is not a tut for beginners but it is actually quit good for learning once you have a basic handle on how ruby works the first part attest is. I'll also give you one more pace of advice you will most definitely feel lost when it come to scripting until you actually make some thing like a CMS (custom menu system) so one you have a basic handli on how the methods and classes fit together, start a thread in the RGSS section and start asking questions, like How do I create a window? and things like that. soon you will have a handle on things an be able to script small things (this is where i'm at now).
