I need horses bets script. There are 7 horses to selection on the map. Everyone has a number. One selects oneself one of those. If the selected object achieves the goal first, one can get oneself a price. For Mini Game.

It would be cooler with scripts like with a shiny window and all but yeah this would be simple to event...

I just personally hate the show choices command...
I prefer to just script a command window real fast and do it like that...

I see where you are coming from, but this is a perfect example of why event systems are made...A script is not NEEDED for this.

landith to waht ur saying I could easily event(yes I'm braggin I am a pretty good eventer alot of neat systems in my star wars game is going to be evented in fact probably everything is except the babs and my title screen skip. I used the title screen skip to make an evented title screen. Oh and the menu isnt evented either) a different command window to show neat choices using an arrow. You saw an example of the evented title screen I could do something like that its simple.

Yeah just use a variable to store the number they betted and have a random number from 1-8(whatever the ammount of horses there are) and assign the horses different variables and if that random variable equals one of the horses it gives you the amount of money you betted * 2 or if it doesn't it takes the money you first betted.
Of Course that's how I think you could do it...

yea see I made an event system similar to this and it is easy. I, like landith, dont really like the show choices but sometimes I have no choice but to use them. But yea I can make a window appear at the top of the scren in a corner to make it look scripted

I know this is a script request but some since the others said it'd be better with events I had a go at it :) It even includes a race track where you can see the horses racing! YAY :D

This is why eventing exists...
I just can't see making and adding a new script simply for making a bet on a race... :|
