All of these, with the exception of Vertex Gamma, a 13 footer, are 11 footers. That's my normal level and I like most of the songs at 11. I can play some songs with levels above me, like Plain Asia, but very few.
My status quo is 12 footers, but that's how StepMania Online quotes it. It usually goes:
10, 11: AA, AAA
12: AA
13: AA, A
14: AA, A, B
15: A, B
That's my old record though. Keyboard sucks with StepMania so I suck in return. I have some good records but they're on the other computer.
So I'm posting what's good here:

Marvelous Attack on War Game. :P
I suppose I could do better if I replayed these a lot. The only one that I replay much is Reversing Darts, for obvious reasons.
Hey I'm actually not that bad!!! :V:

This is a really fun game though... ^-^
(lol at 'Drunk'...)
play the Gannon 600 remix.
I used to have this game and a bunch of songs, but I lost it with my old laptop :'(

I haven't played Stepmania for ages, so I don't have the link.
That's the name of the song, it's on the website somewhere :/
it's not the best song, but the step map on Oni is awesome
Alright...Found this (http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/sims/index.php?songid=29519)
What's a really easy song? I'm currently having a lot of trouble not failing... :<_<:
Makes me really appreciate Kirby's videos... :haha:
Anyways, I'm downloading that Gannon one. :D
Usually the easy songs are the official DDR ones on Beginner. It's really hard since there's really nothing I can think of as StepMania has an extremely diverse set of music and artists...
So yeah...find the DDR Mixes and you're good.
http://stepmaniaug.com should have some.
EDIT: Dude, they removed their file links. =< It's now a forum site...T_T
There's always http://ddruk.com but you have to register and the downloads can be slow. I don't know what it's like now.
:D Thanks Kirby!
I found some here:
http://www.stepmaniadownloadsource.com/ddr.html
>.< Man this game is so addictive... :P
Here are some packs (http://houkouonchi.net:8080/packs/)
Otaku's Dream is very easy for beginners and is what I started out with. If you like anime than get it, but it's very annoying how the higher levels are of poor quality. Get the first mix.
Here (http://starrodkirby86.web44.net/stepmania.php) are my first songs, made by our very own Starrodkirby86!
Good link, but those are poor links in some senses. There's some good links to some exclusives there, but lots of songs I upload are here:
http://mediafire.com/starrodkirby86
I don't know if they suck or not, but hey, it's fun. :P
Most of his songs are good. Power Up was one of my favorites as was Labyrinth.
i was pretty sick at SM back when i used to play..... Even beat Kirby online! :^_^':

And no, this isn't some innuendo thing.

I currently hold the record for most misses in a row, while seriously playing obviously :^_^':
@Dio: Obviously a really easy one. :D I think it was about butterflies and samurais. :^_^': Lol, I want to see you verse Kirby. :xD:
@Valcos: I challenge that claim. :shifty:

Current keyboard style makes me as lame as you. :V: But really, I'm not accustomed to a natural Spread method, but I reckon I can still beat good ol' Dio...
Sounds like Butterfly by SMILE.DK . Hope you got that A on Butterfly Heavy. :x

Oh, he can beat me. My best on Vertex Beta is a C, which I guessing he can AA. I'm not up to his level, but I hope I can at least follow his records, like AA'ing B.B. Evolution. Of course, Star is no Thaor, either.

It's a perfectly legal move to change arrangement. There are a few main styles such as spread, one-handed and index. Spread has the most potential and is considered the "best". Index is faster and more accurate at lower levels, but cannot do hands or quads and is bad at the highest levels of play. One-handed looks cool but is the weakest playing method. You can potentially do hands with one handed though.

I can AA Vertex Beta. It's just a matter of Full Comboing it. It's just a Stamina exercise anyway.
Your mom's no Thaor either. :V:
You can also go for some far-out method of keyboard play like NICE. :3

Two handed method's like that are unorthodox, but effective somewhat. You actually do lose control and I can't see actually playing like that. I do it for fun, but the costs for me outweighs the benefits. I'd rather have my four strongest fingers aligned to hit notes than have my two weakest on ANY notes. Besides, Thaor plays two handed spread XD So I''ll copy him.

SM's been sitting in my downloads folder for ages, I finally installed it. I think I did pretty well for my first try though that's prob because it was an easy song xD

There is nothing else I really have to say about this matter or subject. I'm not on my other computer so I can't post any ultimate screenshots, my apologies.

I'll grab my video camera and record you a clip of me AA'ng a song somewhere
Lol. I can AA songs too XD Thaor AAA'd St.Scarhand with standard spread. In fact, I don't know of any "pro" players who use two handed methods like that. It's interesting to say the least.
PpppSsssHhhh!!!! I can do AAA songs on easy :^_^':

go suck Thaor's dick already, seriously.
not everyone cares about being 'pro' at anything.
some people play just to have fun.
I use my 'unorthadox' setup because it feels natural to me, and I can use my pointer, middle, and ring finger at the same time, on both hands, which makes it very easy to hit fast runs.
as far as losing control goes, the worse that happens is my slight dyslexia kicks in and I mistake pressing up for down, or vice versa.

Thaor high A'ing Death Piano (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gZLpKhxK9w)
Those are some links to his videos. You might see why I love him so much. In any case, I do agree with you, having fun is one of the driving reasons to play this game. With the increase of high quality songs because of the recent founding of ODI, I'm sure Stepmania won't die out. It's trying to break from DDR and maybe for good reason. Still, a nice session of Beatmania destroys my Stepmania high.
And I unfortunately, I suffer from hand twitches that absolutely ruin my game when playing any song over two minutes. >:\

see, people who are good like that are nice and all, but I have no drive to be that amazingly good at a game. I'm perfectly happy with being just above average.
edit: and when I said I'd record something, I siad it to show that it's a good play style, rather than anything else
I figured Namk. I'm sure you're quite good. It's a strange way to organize your hand, but the advantages are quite nice. Twice as fast as normal players.

my problem is slight lysdexia.
which causes my hands to sort of tie themselves up and hit the wrong arrows altogether :/
not so much misreading as the impulses from my brain not hitting right
Yeah. This thread isn't a Thaorism thread.

Mmh, I'm not particularly sure what to say exactly considering you have two excuses laid in front of you. If they weren't there, I would say you did a pretty nice job, but you need to get your rebound back quickly after some streams (or tough notes)

It's beatmania with less holds. I've played it and wasn't impressed. Just play solo Stepmania

It's a beatmania clone attempt.
I'm with dio on this one.
