I don't get what your asking...

The 1st and 3rd pose in every charaset is of that particular character facing down, right, left, up, but while standing in place. No steps, no jumps, no runs, no animation at all...

Copy and paste that frame into all 4slots, removing the characters beneath(run, jump, step, whatever).
**Then, add the animation of the power up going across frame by frame.  :)

Alright, so you want an aura sorrounding him?
Do you want it to flow up and continue to flow in the animation?
Slightly transparent?
What color?
For all frames?

Once you answer these I could start to work on it.

yes, yes and yes please to the first three questions and for the color a redish color would be cool.

about the last question does bliss abs animation use all the frames if yes that would be great.

Yeah I think it uses all frames, or it should...

Tell me if that's not what you want...

Don't use that, it's just an outline...

It should use all 4frames...for each direction...
Landith, Lmao, I said he wanted the animation... :P

What color should the charge be??

I know lol I was just waiting on him to tell me what kind of power animation he needed, like some people prefer flames, auras, or even bubbles flying up  :O.o:

I am trying to help get you some information. He never even specified what color he wanted the charge. :^_^':

Damnit... I didn't read your post right...
Hold on...

Well Landith,
That is actually really nice, but instead of trying to work inside of the fighter's pixel limitations, you should increase the canvas size and utilize all that you can...

The head cuts off, but it doesn't have to.

True... But since it's going to be an aura and not a flame I don't have to do it for this one :)
Plus I suck at increasing Canvas Size... I always get the alignment wrong and have to divide by 4 again and make a grid according to that to align it up...

What program do you use!?

For spriting I use Paint.net. Everything else I use photoshop and/or Gimp.

Trust me,
Use photo-shop for spriting.

I didn't like using PS at 1st either, until I realized just how much you can do, and how handy PS comes in when you are in a little debacle.

Use the canvas re-size feature and you don't have to worry about your image moving. The utility has arrows that allow you to lock the position.

I'll probably end up using Photoshop for spriting but for now I use Paint.net because I've been using it for years and is most acquainted with. That and the color mixer is alot easier to use to shade.

Have you used the color replacement tool and the select color features of Photoshop??
I'm not preaching, Lol, but I am simply trying to help you realize what PS is capable of. I am sure you are already mostly aware of PS expansiveness, but it really does make things easier when you sprite. Just make sure to hide the grid, or your pixels will snap to it.

Nope, does the color replacement tool replace all the pixels of that certain color with another color?

@Shadon: Sorry for going off topic...

I didn't do much, just made it not look like flames...
Tell me if you hate it...

Yes, simple "uncheck" the "contiguous" utility.
