i like this one :P
Falsely Accused
I've been accused of being a player
One of those innocent woman slayers
Mistaken by my fellow peers
I'm just facing social fears
Although I make it look real easy
The intention is to not be sleazy
Because my true goal is straight from the heart
The honest word is, I'm still learning my part
So what looks like a spiral game
Does not go by the same bloody name
I'm in search of that perfect mate
And avoiding a life with a lonely fate
Someday I will find love and happiness
And then I will be able to confess
No matter how much fun was the time
It was the love that was on my mind

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
`'Tis some visitor,' I muttered, `tapping at my chamber door -
Only this, and nothing more.'
Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak December,
And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor.
Eagerly I wished the morrow; - vainly I had sought to borrow
From my books surcease of sorrow - sorrow for the lost Lenore -
For the rare and radiant maiden whom the angels named Lenore -
Nameless here for evermore.
And the silken sad uncertain rustling of each purple curtain
Thrilled me - filled me with fantastic terrors never felt before;
So that now, to still the beating of my heart, I stood repeating
`'Tis some visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door -
Some late visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door; -
This it is, and nothing more,'
Presently my soul grew stronger; hesitating then no longer,
`Sir,' said I, `or Madam, truly your forgiveness I implore;
But the fact is I was napping, and so gently you came rapping,
And so faintly you came tapping, tapping at my chamber door,
That I scarce was sure I heard you' - here I opened wide the door; -
Darkness there, and nothing more.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before
But the silence was unbroken, and the darkness gave no token,
And the only word there spoken was the whispered word, `Lenore!'
This I whispered, and an echo murmured back the word, `Lenore!'
Merely this and nothing more.
Back into the chamber turning, all my soul within me burning,
Soon again I heard a tapping somewhat louder than before.
`Surely,' said I, `surely that is something at my window lattice;
Let me see then, what thereat is, and this mystery explore -
Let my heart be still a moment and this mystery explore; -
'Tis the wind and nothing more!'
Open here I flung the shutter, when, with many a flirt and flutter,
In there stepped a stately raven of the saintly days of yore.
Not the least obeisance made he; not a minute stopped or stayed he;
But, with mien of lord or lady, perched above my chamber door -
Perched upon a bust of Pallas just above my chamber door -
Perched, and sat, and nothing more.
Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling,
By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore,
`Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou,' I said, `art sure no craven.
Ghastly grim and ancient raven wandering from the nightly shore -
Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night's Plutonian shore!'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'
Much I marvelled this ungainly fowl to hear discourse so plainly,
Though its answer little meaning - little relevancy bore;
For we cannot help agreeing that no living human being
Ever yet was blessed with seeing bird above his chamber door -
Bird or beast above the sculptured bust above his chamber door,
With such name as `Nevermore.'
But the raven, sitting lonely on the placid bust, spoke only,
That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour.
Nothing further then he uttered - not a feather then he fluttered -
Till I scarcely more than muttered `Other friends have flown before -
On the morrow he will leave me, as my hopes have flown before.'
Then the bird said, `Nevermore.'
Startled at the stillness broken by reply so aptly spoken,
`Doubtless,' said I, `what it utters is its only stock and store,
Caught from some unhappy master whom unmerciful disaster
Followed fast and followed faster till his songs one burden bore -
Till the dirges of his hope that melancholy burden bore
Of "Never-nevermore."'
But the raven still beguiling all my sad soul into smiling,
Straight I wheeled a cushioned seat in front of bird and bust and door;
Then, upon the velvet sinking, I betook myself to linking
Fancy unto fancy, thinking what this ominous bird of yore -
What this grim, ungainly, ghastly, gaunt, and ominous bird of yore
Meant in croaking `Nevermore.'
This I sat engaged in guessing, but no syllable expressing
To the fowl whose fiery eyes now burned into my bosom's core;
This and more I sat divining, with my head at ease reclining
On the cushion's velvet lining that the lamp-light gloated o'er,
But whose velvet violet lining with the lamp-light gloating o'er,
She shall press, ah, nevermore!
Then, methought, the air grew denser, perfumed from an unseen censer
Swung by Seraphim whose foot-falls tinkled on the tufted floor.
`Wretch,' I cried, `thy God hath lent thee - by these angels he has sent thee
Respite - respite and nepenthe from thy memories of Lenore!
Quaff, oh quaff this kind nepenthe, and forget this lost Lenore!'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'
`Prophet!' said I, `thing of evil! - prophet still, if bird or devil! -
Whether tempter sent, or whether tempest tossed thee here ashore,
Desolate yet all undaunted, on this desert land enchanted -
On this home by horror haunted - tell me truly, I implore -
Is there - is there balm in Gilead? - tell me - tell me, I implore!'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'
`Prophet!' said I, `thing of evil! - prophet still, if bird or devil!
By that Heaven that bends above us - by that God we both adore -
Tell this soul with sorrow laden if, within the distant Aidenn,
It shall clasp a sainted maiden whom the angels named Lenore -
Clasp a rare and radiant maiden, whom the angels named Lenore?'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'
`Be that word our sign of parting, bird or fiend!' I shrieked upstarting -
`Get thee back into the tempest and the Night's Plutonian shore!
Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken!
Leave my loneliness unbroken! - quit the bust above my door!
Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'
And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;
And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming,
And the lamp-light o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor;
And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor
Shall be lifted - nevermore!
I have one I wrote, but it contains secrets I need hidden, too bad, its pretty awesome too, in my mind.
and Nortos, yours kinda is... mysterious.

im working on a poem i havent started it yet tho.. so... when its done imma post it.
ok as i type this i'm making it up...
in the yes of the deamer
there is a shard of hope
As the beholder bows his head
He gives the world more hope
to stop the evil of the world
he must pray real hard
for the darkness in the world
has power from a far
When the holder finds his way
his destiny will unfold
that he is the one to help us
the savior of untold....
who can guess who this poem is about?
*is atheist*
* I know *
is it about god?
here is another i just came up with
within the distance of space
there is a a small speck
Is it life
or is is death?
no one is for sure
untill it takes it's shape
what on earth could it be?
could it a just a mistake?
As the speck begins to form
we stare with awe and wonder
As the element becomes alive
we all begin to ponder
who knows what this element could be
is it water or rain
noone knows for sure just what it may be
but I believe that it has a purpose just like you and me....

ok back to poems!
lol,i like poems alot i think they are very cool.
ok, lets see if i can come up with one right now, randomly...
Shadows to dusk
and dusk to light
light ever bright
birghtness to eyes
eyes to pain
the sun shines ever on
bringing warmth
bringing light
and then comes the night
with shadows and the lost
and the ever twisting twilit sky
blackness moves
and the dark slithers before me
the night shines bright up high
a moon devoid of humanity
blue circle ring surrounding
when the night comes
and the shadows take over
i step from my domain
and out into the black
above me I see
the light of the stars
snow under my barefoot feet
blanket, over my undressed body
i stare, up at the stars
standing there
at night
morning
i am gone.
uhh, yeah, i think i changed something or other at one point... i dont think it came out right...
I like it you just came up with it than? Has a cool mood, :P I should hire you out for certain poetic stuff or other things in my game. You should make your storyline help more wide and have like poems too :)
WE SHOULD MAKE A BOOK
I will post some of my poems that I have written over the years 2morrow...I cant remember many of them off the top of my head, because to be honest...I only wrote most of them for the grade I needed ;D. But truthfully also, they are pretty good, my teacher wanted me to enter a competition, but I turned it down. I'll bring my folder hom tomorrow and post 'em.

I'll post mine after I get outta school today.
Except me, I don't have English anymore. <_<;
Lol, thats nt neccessarily a bad thing Blizz >_>
This is a poem I made about a slave for English class. It is supposed to reflect the life of Olaodah Equiano...
The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaodah Equiano
The parents off to work
The sister and I alone
The strangers found a way in
They took us from our home
They gagged us they bound us
They placed us in sacks
We boarded a ship
To never come back
Sailing and sailing
When will it end
I hoped, I prayed
I even tried to pretend
Alas, this is real
Nothing fake about it
Soon we will be sold
To buyers of the Black Market
We will work as slaves for the lazy
Until the ends of our time
Never to return home
And yet, we'd never commited a crime
By Derek Chestnut
I will post some more later, I have a headache, and I think I'm gonna take a nap, Lol...
your last name is Chestnut?
and lol, thats pretty good, I like rhythm of it.
cool... ill add it to my colection
Now i have 1 poem
lol Chestnut *sorry for offtopicness*
Don't you judge me!! Lol
here's one I did in 5 minutes in English lol...I found out it was due and hadn't started it so I was like shit...
every now and than something sounds bad like first verse but that's because English teacher made us keep the same amount of sylables and structure as a poem he showed us.
A stark evening in winter
In an old rusted shack
Wolves rested together
Huddling in a vicous pack
Baby cubs howl their screaming cries
Mothers comfort them with meat
Fathers and adults on the hunt
Scared prey hiding in the sleet
Dew dripping of the frightened prery
Something was amiss
Dark, Evil, Blood Thirsty, Amiss
The prey heard whispers of an evil hiss
A shadow loomed over them
Their cries pierced the night air
As their bodies fell limp
It took them to its lair...
By Me
I thought it was alright done in 5 mins lol

- Family Fun Days in The Park | By: Chris Limb
A sunny day in the park with my mom and dad
for the day is bright as the sun.
I find the slides lots of fun
and my dad and I play tag so I run.
When I swing on the swings I try to touch the sky
Mom brought a basket full of tastefull treats.
I enjoy them and so do the ants.
With the wind blowing the grass moves like the sea.
The birds are flying in the sky
and the kites are up and flying
the games are fun and I got to play
but now the sun is setting
"Time to go home", I would hear my dad say
I smiled and wave good bye to the park, maybe another day.
- Wanting to help | By: Chris Limb
Being young and not being told,
about the problems that behold.
Being told that your too young,
and you should have lots of fun.
being told, "Why worry, you won't understand,
How everything has price including this land.
Yet we know you just want to help."
but they say that because they want to do it without your help.
So I sit and wait for the long day to end,
and hear my mother say that was a day well spend.
she said it cold and she never means it,
but yet I just shrug and just want to commit.
I guess this is the veiw of a child
Not fully welcomed to help and should be wild.
- Childhood at School | By: Chris Limb
School is rough
for its so tough
hard to make a friend
or even defend
So much work
and everyones a jerk
the teachers pick on me
and I cut my knee
My spelling is always wrong
and the day is feels long
I just want to go home
where I can just be alone
but tommorow is another school day
and I just hope that I'll be okay.
- The wind | By: Chris Limb
As the wind blows I learn its emotion. I hear the aggression as it hits the wind chimes. I feel its shyness as it brushes my skin. It brings happiness while it carries the scent of fresh air with a hint of cut wood. I see its excitement as it performs a ritual dance across the trees. Its movement is slick and yet noticeable in the backyard with the rock garden closest to the fence. Rushing towards me across the grass at an alarming rate. Jumping over the patio table it moves the books, forcing the pages to scream in pain. It smiles in glee as it pounces, but suddenly it stops. Fadding away into nothingness as the calm settles in, silence seems to fill the world. Nothing is heard but Maureen's fingers flipping the pages in her book. Sitting in a lawn chair with nothing but a binder on my lap and a pencil in my hand I look out across the lawn. Beyond the mess the wind had made by throwing my papers around. Across the trees to the tired sunset. I await for the next time I am visited by the wind.
Untitled1 | By: Chris Limb
Today is a boring day.
No one to see me or to hear me
Away in the dark angel Together in the light.
We see one thing and that thing is tonight.
Hurry back my little angel Before hell gets you good
For we are one and one we are
So let it be so true.
- Untitled | By: Chris Limb
Wind,earth,water,fire
dance around me with desire
hold me close and let me go
Thats the its so
Grow with power and some fashion
with destrucion and compashion
help me see the way I be
its my detainy
Help me with all your might
I be the darkness and the light
you are the candle that I seek
for I am called a freak
Fire fire burning bright
cast away this awful plight
Water water wosh around
pervent me from the drown
Earth earth strong and steady
Hold me up for I'm ready
Wind wind lead me through
for I beleave I grew
Guild me, side with me
Show me the way, thats the key
Hold me let close and let me go
thats the it so.
- Elements of the mage | by Chris Limb
Fire water earth and air
came to me with lots of care
ice nature shadow and light
shine upon with your all your might
order choas hate and love
show me your symbols through the dove
lighting psyic metel peace
Made the realm to make the war sease
16 elements hand in true
made a realm that could not undo.
Infused with gaia one and all
showed the mortals that they would not fall
but to hold in love truth and peace
held their power only to release
a realm of hope dreams and spirit
was only a realm of rite
out of hands of mortal touch
was unable for mortals to clutch
Mages magic spirits true
hold the realm through one and two.
so listen children and remember the war
where the magi realm gain it's core.
- What a day | By: Chris Limb
It's a beautiful day,
can't you see it?
The birds are singing away,
can't you hear it?
It's a Wonderful day,
don't you know it?
The sun is shining all day,
can't you feel it?
It's a marvelous day,
Don't denie it.
The blossoms are open all the way,
Can't you smell it?
It's a lovely day,
Won't you believe it?
The taste of nature is in the air,
can't you taste it?
It's a beautiful day?
Can't you see it?
The birds are singing away,
For it's spring and will be for a bit.
interesting. i like them.
Love's effect | By: Chris Limb
Alas the bird has sang away
the night moon lust from far away
even when the sun is nice and high
you can hear in the distance a depressing sigh
for when love has left the air
it seems that most people just don't care
for when spring has came again
the love returns and we start to grin
though we know we'll be hurt once more
we don't care for we are in the loveless pour
so when you hear the birds start to sing,
remember that it won't ever in with a ring.
- Steven | By: Chris Limb
Staring in the full moon's light,
Ten young men start to fight,
Evading each others blows,
Verboly throwing words that sound absurd,
Even when no one is winning,
No one wins when there is only killing.
- Anthony | By: Chris Limb
Anthony my love burns bright
Nothing can put it out with all of its might
Together I dream we'll be
Holding each other throughout my dream
Of course it was only a dream,
Noticing your smiled I can only say
Yes my love I'll be here and stay.
- My poetry | By: Chris Limb
you like my poetry so it would seem
I hope you enjoy them through your dreams
regardless if we don't talk to one another
I know only this that I would shudder
perhaps I'll be able to see
and the way you chose to be
but alas I know you wish a farewell
so I leave you to be with yourself and dwell
- Ashely | By: Chris Limb
Ashes to ashes and dust to dust,
stunned by the sun and turned to rust
Holding nothing by my heart's desires
Losing everything but my deepest admires
Eventfully they fade and part
Yelling their words through the harp.
- Amy | by: Chris Limb
Avoiding the world like the stars
Moving away far and far
Yet never gaining any distance.
- Where I am from | By: Chris Limb
Wondering for many a days
Hoping to see someone far away
Evoiding the dangers throughout my travels
Resting only to ease my devils
Eventually I stop and say
In the moonlight I walk away
Am I scared am I feared
Motions seems to lift and disappeared
For once I see for once I followed
Running away from the cursed hollowed
Observing I wondered where I'll be
Might even be within my key.
- Bobby | By Chris Limb
Busting away laughing today
Over the hills and far away
Boys that decide to play
Boys that do nothing but cry away
Yet it seems that nothing has been done today.
- when a dream deterred | By Chris Limb
What happens when a dream deterred
is it sent away by an ancient bird?
or crumble to dust
like the humans lust
Does it starve
and its hunger only grows large?
or fade away
and refuse to stay
Maybe it moves on
like a mindless pawned
or an unanswered pray
refusing to share.
- Jacquenline |By: Chris Limb
Justice has its own meaning
Avengances or fairness
cruel the way life really is
Quiting never an option
usually no one complains
Everyone is usally the same
Listening and taking it in
Interested in their own personal gain
Nothing ever changes in life
Even when death comes strife.
- Lust | By: Chris limb
the webs of love are hard to spin
and soon they make us start to sin
when we see the one we think
'are they the one' is what we think
shall this love burn bright and true
for only some work..only a few.
- Tory | By: Chris Limb
Trust and love is what I see
Opening myself and being me
Realizing that my dreams might crush
You, I am willing to all such a crush.
wow, nice contribute ill have to add them later...
add them? I hope you don't plan on stealing's one works or what do you plan on doing with them?
Someone likes Chris Lamb, Lol...
Good poems though!
How dare you sir make a mockery of my name, this is an outrage!
You seem to thing that a name is just a name that holds us like a cage?!
Ah but a name is an attachment that holds honor,
even though it is rather minor.
You shouldn't make amusement of ones name,
as if it was some sort of game.
Your choosing was rather prosaic,
that it has become rather archaic.
I am sure you wouldn't like me
If I made fun of your family tree.
So be kind for future use,
and tie ends to your words so their not so loose.
I hope your happy calintz16438
that you made this poetry start to sound like hate.
so I shall head and post no more,
poetry that I had in store.

The Legacyblade
The blazing blade of shining blue
Whose power stands unmatched
Summoned only with Hero's key
Shall change the world eternally
Shadow world shall attach
As blade of Legacy shines forth
Shall pierce the heart of Shadow's Call
As realm of gods begins to fall
Through soul of Hero it shall course
Although the shadows shall recede
When lightened hearts cease to dwell
In worlds where the seas still swell
When shadows again shall scourge the land
In days without a Hero's hand
Legacy, to us return
That's one I did for school. I was supposed to come up with a new poetic form, and I did. I call it...Celenathian Shorthand...

YO VALCOS WHERES YOUR POEM FROM OVER A MONTH AGO?!
Here's a quick and short one by me.
Blistering skies
In my eyes
Blurred away my sight,
I struggle and fight.
I realize it's water,
But it doesn't matter.
A heavy breath
And a quick death.
Lol
Nice job blizz xD Rhyme scheme is simple but it's comes off nice
My favorite poem:::
Thanatopsis by William Cullen Bryant: ShowHide O him who in the love of Nature holds
Communion with her visible forms, she speaks
A various language; for his gayer hours
She has a voice of gladness, and a smile
And eloquence of beauty, and she glides
Into his darker musings, with a mild
And healing sympathy, that steals away
Their sharpness, ere he is aware. When thoughts
Of the last bitter hour come like a blight
Over thy spirit, and sad images
Of the stern agony, and shroud, and pall,
And breathless darkness, and the narrow house,
Make thee to shudder and grow sick at heart;--
Go forth, under the open sky, and list
To Nature's teachings, while from all around--
Earth and her waters, and the depths of air--
Comes a still voice--Yet a few days, and thee
The all-beholding sun shall see no more
In all his course; nor yet in the cold ground,
Where thy pale form was laid with many tears,
Nor in the embrace of ocean, shall exist
Thy image. Earth, that nourish'd thee, shall claim
Thy growth, to be resolved to earth again,
And, lost each human trace, surrendering up
Thine individual being, shalt thou go
To mix for ever with the elements,
To be a brother to the insensible rock,
And to the sluggish clod, which the rude swain
Turns with his share, and treads upon. The oak
Shall send his roots abroad, and pierce thy mould.
Yet not to thine eternal resting-place
Shalt thou retire alone, nor couldst thou wish
Couch more magnificent. Thou shalt lie down
With patriarchs of the infant world--with kings,
The powerful of the earth--the wise, the good,
Fair forms, and hoary seers of ages past,
All in one mighty sepulchre. The hills
Rock-ribb'd and ancient as the sun,--the vales
Stretching in pensive quietness between;
The venerable woods; rivers that move
In majesty, and the complaining brooks
That make the meadows green; and, pour'd round all,
Old Ocean's grey and melancholy waste,--
Are but the solemn decorations all
Of the great tomb of man. The golden sun,
The planets, all the infinite host of heaven,
Are shining on the sad abodes of death,
Through the still lapse of ages. All that tread
The globe are but a handful to the tribes
That slumber in its bosom.--Take the wings
Of morning, pierce the Barcan wilderness,
Or lose thyself in the continuous woods
Where rolls the Oregon and hears no sound
Save his own dashings--yet the dead are there:
And millions in those solitudes, since first
The flight of years began, have laid them down
In their last sleep--the dead reign there alone.
So shalt thou rest: and what if thou withdraw
In silence from the living, and no friend
Take note of thy departure? All that breathe
Will share thy destiny. The gay will laugh
When thou art gone, the solemn brood of care
Plod on, and each one as before will chase
His favourite phantom; yet all these shall leave
Their mirth and their employments, and shall come
And make their bed with thee. As the long train
Of ages glides away, the sons of men,
The youth in life's green spring, and he who goes
In the full strength of years, matron and maid,
The speechless babe, and the gray-headed man--
Shall one by one be gathered to thy side
By those who in their turn shall follow them.
So live, that when thy summons comes to join
The innumerable caravan which moves
To that mysterious realm where each shall take
His chamber in the silent halls of death,
Thou go not, like the quarry-slave at night,
Scourged by his dungeon; but, sustain'd and soothed
By an unfaltering trust, approach thy grave,
Like one who wraps the drapery of his couch
About him, and lies down to pleasant dreams.
