Chaos Project

Has anyone ever heard of the Charas forum? It's a website that has an engine that lets you make your own rm2k/rm2k3 charsets. It's right here, http://charas-project.net/index.php?lang=en. Anyone know something like this for xp?

Not that I know of. There is a program that lets you do this though. I think it was called "Character Creator XP" or something like that. It never got really popular due to lack of resources.

Yeah, but they have some good resources for frankenspriting. I wouldn't recommend just saving them right off the website then using them in your game, you should add a little of your own touch too it, like recoloring the body, putting different clothes on it, or changing various parts. It gives your game a more custom feel :)

Yea its pretty good, it has quite a few standard rtp graphics to make a custom charaset.

Neat, I will have to test her out.

I think I have an updated version of that 1.5
its more advance with more options (like changing colour etc)
1 downside.. its Spanish.. but think that's not that big of a problem

I speak Spanish, so it's not much of a down side for me.

You want resources? Venetia (from .org) made a whole bunch of resources for that program. Search in rmxp.org, I'm sure you'll find it.

Try uploading it to mediafire, it usually lasts pretty long there.

I had it uploaded on the server of my online community, but we redid the site/forum etc and also moved this file...
so I just need to correct the link.

Unfortunately, RapidShare always fails to download files, due to the fact that it gives me an "Overloaded Servers" error. I'm not sure what program you uploaded, and this one may be the same, but I can't check due to the nature of RapidShare.

Charmaker XP should have its own topic. It only makes sense. Its a really interesting and helpful program to those who prefer the original XP RGSS RTP style CharSets.  :)

is helpful and all, but the characters created look nothing like the RGSS RTP, so you can't mix them with the RTP charas. Well, you could, but it won't look right. lol
