I'm thinking about leaving RMXP for a while

I do stuff here and there for my own game I have been working on for a while but other than that I don't do to much.

Maybe you can go into training periods or something...hone skills, learn maturity. Whatever suits you fancy.

What makes you think you have to contribute? You can just leech a bit (or not at all) and simply concentrate on making your game. :)

Just look at SRK. He hasn't contributed much in the RM area, but he has contributed a lot in the other areas. I didn't make him a mod for his charms. xD

MetaKnight, if you wanted to leave RMXP, go right ahead. Many, many people here do not use RMXP, yet they are pretty active. Again, look at SRK. Doesn't contribute much in the RM area (aside from moving topics into the Scripts Database (translation: Doing my JOB) faster and funnier than me. xD), and he's a global moderator. You don't have to be a freaking rocket scientist to be here.

lol, Dude, it depends on what you want and how you feel. For me, CP is pretty much the home page. I hang out whether I do anything or not.

Good, don't leave. If you don't contribute, work on your game (like others said) or just hang out. Even if you're not an RM guru who makes event systems and sprites (like calnitz), a scripting god (blizz), or a good spriter, who is lazy as $@%@ most of the time (I won't name names >_>), you can still be a good community member.
