Chaos Project

Hail, Chaos Project. I am Krause, and I am semi new to RPG Maker. I can understand the event system, though I am just new to it. Someday I hope to learn how to script.

First of all, I am already a Spriter. I've made sprites before for groups before on other programs such as Game Maker or custom systems, but they all have failed. So, my work has not been shown widely. I've started spriting on the RPG Maker XP base, and here is what I have so far:

It might be decent - But I'm still improving.

I hope to better my spriting, learn how to script, and someday make a game.

It is nice to meet everyone here, I hope I won't become a bother or a drifter. :]

Cool looking sprite.
He doesn't seem to be RTP size nor RTP shade, and since most people use RTP style, perhaps you should try that style out?

On the contrary, I think he is RTP size. Maybe not shade.

Here is a comparison. On the left is the character sprite I did, in the middle is RTP, and on the right is the base I used to make the sprite on the left.

I'm intrigued to find out the guy's name so I'm looking for it now... ^_^;;

Well, the thing with RTP is that the only thing that differs from sprite to sprite is the style of hair and clothing and the colors of hair, clothing, and other features.
(At least... in my opinion XD)

The sprite you did has a smaller sized head, bigger hands, and greater upper body to lower body proportion.

Don't get me wrong, yours is good, but it just doesn't look true RTP.

True on what you said Aqua, but I prefer my sprite style. It may not be RTP, but it's close. I see it as.... my own sort of style.

I hope I got that across clear enough, and I hope not to seem snobby. I just like my baby style. :]

Sorry about the purple background, it helps me distinguish aspects easily. I shall for now on put my sprites on a silver background - Easier on the eyes.

Gah, can't find it. D'= This will plague me for the rest of my days until I find it! D=
(Although it would help if I had played at least one of the titles xD)

Well, about the sprite style if you can churn out enough who knows if your style will overtake the RTP! ;] I'm using a different base template myself as well, although I didn't make it xD.

I believe the character to be from a Mobile Castlevania game.

It's actually purple/pink. More pink to me.

Phew~ I always called that colour magic pink for some reason, because no-one ever uses it and it really shows (like you said) the different aspects easily. =] Although I guess it is kinda purple. o_O

Not bad with the emotions...The eyes are somewhat interesting to see. The style shindig however, is something I really appreciate on your case. It seems to me you're quite the social character...Maybe we need more of you out there. It'll raise all morale.
