Oh recolors, how simple of a step, yet it helps understand the life of a palette.

I recommend you keep doing this for a little bit, then step up to the plate and add in more funky and awesome items. Maybe you can frankensprite, recolor those, combine 'n' create, and eventually create your own from scratch (Or a template).

Recolored Black Mage Animated Battler

zomg, you're recoloring Nethera's icons. That is awesome. Aside from the awesomeness, I have general advice that applies to all your recolors so far. Use less bright, less saturated pallets. It looks more like they're covered in snowcone syrup than wearing colored armor when you have it that bright (to me). They're good recolors, but I suggest desaturating them a bit, and maybe darkening them.

Gotchya will do but I made the mage like that. I think she was more of a hot pink than bland purple.

Yah, the mage is Ok.Maybe a bit darker, but that's just preference.

Yea they aren't bad good starts at least. Just remember practice makes perfect

Well, I think it would be cool if you added shades of yellow and red to it, since the ground seems similar in colour to the tree leaves. Just so people don't get too much of an eyesore after a long time. ;)

You should credit dollmage for the battler. ^_^

The RTP, just looks horrible... the sprites in RMXP rtp are bad, i like the VX ones...

Ok here's some sprites I generated using a generator. I'm trying to remake a few ff7 characters. Anyways these are Turk and Reno from FF7 Advent Children. Tell me if they look anything like them please ^_^

The glasses could use some work, but they are cool.
Your autumn grassland is too orange. Autumn tends to be more of a brown.

@calintz: Gotchya I try to recolor it a bit more brownish.

My first action pose. Not really an action pose its just Aluxes blinking. Its still good practice even if its something as simple as this.

You should add an extra frame.

Add another frame to the blinking ...
One with partially closed eyes, rather than just jumping from all open, straight to closed shut.

This is probably the worst recolor I've ever done but its my first recolor on a battler. Doesnt look that great.

I shouldn't comment much considering we all know how Arshes fails to become someone different than who he really is. Definitely stick with the Orange palette, please Arshes sir~

Though one big thing is that the neon green definitely doesn't fit. It's a color that doesn't blend well with the original orange. You would rather recolor the whole thing, giving it a tint of green or something to make the neon green blend in well. (Or just go do better things ~)

It was only buggy because I didnt go through to erase the sword handles like you did. I practically just layout the weapons for people. If you wanna go through and edit them like that than its fine.
