Title: [RESOLVED] Blizz-ABS Crashing Error!
Post by: excursion on May 01, 2009, 02:40:09 pm
No clue what's going on here, this is a strange error that's making me halt the progress of my game ! =(

So far I have 9 enemies created. 8 of the enemies work fine, but when I go to the certain map with the 9th enemy on it, the game instantly crashes with this error:

Script 'Game_Battler 3' line15: NoMethodError occured.

undefined method `sp_cost' for nil:NilClass

Could I get some serious help on this, it's really slowing me down.

You set up one of your skills in the Database wrong.

Note:  not the Blizz-ABS configuration.

Does this mean the game does not crash when you regularly play (Through the game.exe)?

I'm sorry, you're not providing enough information. Details really help through into finding a solution...

A few things you can do to help:

Is there even a 9th enemy in the database? O.o

Or what ID enemy are you using in the event.

\e[id]

What id is it. Make sure that id appears in the database.

I'm an idiot. Resolved my problem, I had the Skill for the enemy that was blank but it existed. So the 2nd skill literally did nothing.

I'm very grateful to all of you for your help!

He's talking about that he has 9 (unique?) enemies, and the 9th one makes the game crash.

Great, great you solved your problem. Seems that the skills did do something wrong.

When you have future problems, please don't hesitate and ask. It's highly preferred you post in the Blizz-ABS topic (Posting here is all right since it's technically true too). That's okay. Glad you solved the problem.

In future problems that are topics, if they're solved, put a [RESOLVED] tag at the beginning of the topic name so we know not to check this topic out (or check it out if someone has a similar problem). :)
