Chaos Project

Hey everybody.  I bet you all thought I was never coming back eh?  Maybe not, I don't really know.

So, I'm two weeks away from graduation, so I thought I'd check in on things here.  Besides the fact that everyone has a weird name and everything...

How are people?  I hope the forum didn't go down too much in activity like it seemed it was going to around the time I left.  Is CP any closer to Beta 2/ Full Release? (no, I have not read any posts yet).  Hope stuff is going well around here.

I'm doing very well.  Got accepted to the top engineering schools in the US, and was accepted to all 6 schools that I applied.  I'll be going to Rice University (Houston, Texas (Gulf of Mexico region)) in the fall.  Got a summer job at a local university that is engineering related as well :).

What's up around here?




No, I'm not staying, just visiting.  I'll probably hang around for a week or two.  Just for clarification.

Chaos Project Beta hasn't been getting too much interesting progress, at least that's what I think. Mmh, there has been a little bit of some banning problems as of late, but you came at the aftermath, which is a perfect time. It's nice to see you here again.

this is oh so true^^ I glad i'm not quite as obsessed with it as i was Now I'm that DOING my hove work and getting it turned in so i don't fail my classes my life has been WAY less stressful.

Hey Blizzard.  You are probably the only person here that has actually affected my life, both by increasing my knowledge and prowess of coding, and my life philosophy.  I never really thanked you for that before I left, mostly because I never fully realized that.  So thanks. :)

And Valcos, frequenting the SPAM forum here is like being on really cheap drugs - the highs are somewhat lame and rarely sensical, and its laced with so much shit that you have no idea what you are doing.  In other words, it was fun, but there is no way I'm ever going back there!  Nice to see you again anyways.

.... *is lost in thought about how Blizz has effected his life* .... this is probably going to sound really weird and creepy but after reading that I was hit with a MASSIVE and legit revelation I feel my life has changed more because I joined this forum than from any other event in my life.... Valcos, you misunderstand.  Blizz was the only one who had that effect on me because he was the person I gravitated towards, perhaps the person I most identified with.  Lots of other people had posts, both worthless and valuable, but they had no effect on me.  And your posts are definitely not all worthless crap.  Read through a lot of them and you will see  ;)

pretty much.  Got through a crapton of forms and stuff for college, and been working all summer.  Painted my garage last weekend.  Playing some Conduit.  Yeah.

What is the stuff that happened?  just RMX-OS and updates on pretty much everything?  And random theme weeks?

Theme weeks are Chaos Project's newest line of innovative and fun new products. Designed around GAX's pokemon week, theme's have been an event the whole family can enjoy!

A few script releases (few from me I got some scripts in ToA :) so did aqua so tons was updated)
Random theme weeks.

Tranny week xD

etc...

and yea rmx-os oh and an online CP Game that the community is working on together.

Ugh, yeah if only I got to here earlier...but I got myself wrapped up around some other things...=_=;;;

We had a 32 bit hash week where everybody's name was transformed into the respective hash value. 2 days later I applied the first 3 bytes of that value as username color. I like it so I left it. xD I'm going probably to remove it in a week.

btw googlepages is going down :( so I am trying to transfer stuff over to a new webhost, but it may take a while, and all links associated with me may be broken.

Also:  don't pm me when I'm gone.  I logged in yesterday with 5 pms, 3 of which were actually asking me for something.  If I'm gone, you aren't getting anything.

Update on the webhost:  I finally got a new one.  all my files are now under , so I will try and update the links that I can, but there will probably be some that I miss.  Any mods can feel free to fix my broken links (meaning that you won't unless everyone starts complaining  ;))

Glad to hear someone is into my music.  I'll definitely make more, and get my studio up again. :)

And Blizz, you have to promise not to update Blizz-ABS except for bugfixes while I work on Dissipate.  Because redoing all the enemies and everything is taking a long time, and I don't want to do it every month. ;)

Okay, it's been a little while since I trashed my attendance record, so here goes:

I'm leaving for a vacation to Hawaii next Thursday, 8/6, and I'll be back from that the Thursday after that, 8/13.
The rest of the day on 8/13 will be a mad packing/getting ready day for college.  I leave the next day, 8/14, on a drive to Rice, which means I'll be gone until Sunday, 8/16, which is when I move in to my new dorm.  After that is Rice's infamously awesome and exhausting orientation week, during which I will have little to no time online, and I'll be mentally crippled by fatigue.  So, the next 3 weeks are going to be awesome for me, but I won't really be on.  Have fun!  (I'll be back afterwards though)

Dates I'll be here full strength: 7/28-8/5 and after 8/21
Dates I might be in and out: 8/13, 8/16-8/21
Dates I won't be here: 8/6-8/12, 8/14-8/15
