Title: How To Make High Def Videos in Windows
Post by: G_G on May 24, 2009, 09:14:32 pm
This is for Windows. I dont know how to do this for any other OS.

First make sure you have all your stuff. Pictures, music, videos etc.

Steps

1. Open Windows Movie Maker
This step is pretty self explanatory. Just run Windows Movie Maker

2. Import all your media stuff
Go to File > Import Media Items. Import all of your video clips, pictures, and music.

3. Setup your entire movie and whatnot
Drag your pictures, video clips, and music onto the timeline at the bottom. Put them in any order you want

4. Publish it in High Def
Now just follow the pictures and text to publish it in High Def.

DONE!

You are done making your High Def video. Things you can do with it.
Put it on a DVD and give it to a friend/family
Publish it on youtube
Delete it - not sure why you'd do this one though
And more

Eh ...
I just use Sony Vegas and render it with some special settings.

That's how I was able to create that Dragonball Z Anime Music Video with such crazy quality =D.

BUT!!
For those who don't know how to get Sony ... This is a nice little tutorial.

Isn't this quite self-explanatory? And also, other compression methods can work as well, or maybe even better. It's just that the first one is best used for optimization on Youtube (Or less time uploading at all).

I honestly don't see a use for this except for the total ignorant p---Oh wait, we're in America, this is definitely useful. (Ha!)

The actual tutorial isn't bad itself.

The thing is that you're doing it on such a subject that shouldn't have a tutorial in the first place. The more the merrier I suppose, but it's really self-explanatory to go and change whatever settings (Especially if you like experimenting and playing with the stuff).

But many people are this ignorant, and it can help anyway.
