Reference Image Library Project

I wish to start a project where everyone here can take part in ...., hmm what is it you say? What is it about?
it is quite simple, i am looking for the best of the best character images from any game or anime series, etc.
Why? Unfortunately me and my Lead Artist are running out of ideas, so we are looking for reference images to create even more stunning characters for our first commercial title, Rising Legend: The Rival Blades.

I really would like the help from you guys.

Guide:
Do not post the same character.
It must be CG (computer graphics)
It must be a professional artwork or close.
no group pictures for now.
submit your favorite characters first!

Once again, an out-of-place topic. New Projects is for RMXP projects ONLY, not for resource gathering. The only place I can see to put this is Resource Requests.

Not meaning to be a dick, but make sure you post your threads in the right locations because it's getting fairly annoying moving your shit.

That's a poor picture of cloud though.

You should've grabbed a screen from Advent Children. You said to post "professional," or near professional work. Just because it's fully colored and half-way decent looking doesn't make it professional, or even close to professional. That just ridicules cloud ... it's sad that somebody destroyed the mental image I hold for one of my favorite game characters of all time.

Its a fan art, its not the end of the world.
if you were into art then you would have seen like a million different drawings of cloud strife, i don't like that pic either but hey if you have a better one then post it first because my example don't count.

you gotta be kidding me! thats high quality artwork, if you could paint even a 1/10 of that then i would accept what you said. you're just a egg that haven't even been hatched yet!

The issue is NOT the image's location yourself. Dude, it doesn't matter if it's a fan art or official art. We're not hunting down for authenticity here. These reference images are to help people create characters after looking at some nice pictures. If you're looking for an authentic creation, just search the images yourself or play that game yourself.

This argument is silly...>_>

I would post a reference picture up here for people to check out, but I don't really feel like uploading any at the moment (Don't want to steal some bandiwdth).

It doesn't "suck", but it's not good either. And it's definitely not professional.

Also, I highly doubt someone who uses so much of TNR is that much of a professional.

It seems that you were getting the wrong picture, it is very good for 2d digital artwork.
What you posted is 3D!
3D will be better than 2d in details and shading effects, for example the best 2d work will be no match for the best 3d work.

I love your characters!!!
This is going better than i thought it would.

Do anyone here know in detail how the derative copyright laws work?

No. That's assuming everyone uses Vista; plenty of people use Linux, Mac, XP, etc, and if you're going to use a certain kind of button it should be generic, not platform-specific ('tis good UI design)

In your guide you said you wanted it to be CG only, which is why I posted what I did. That is all CG from professional games. You hadn't specified that it must be 2-D.

Times like this it's best to stalk the images with its URL. Fortunately, Calintz provided all the information we need from it.

All those images are from Magna Carta.

Everyone of those pictures are from the game series mentioned above, however don't make the mistake of getting the wrong copy. Those characters are all from "MagnaCarta: Tears of Blood."

Now all of these characters are from another MagnaCarta game titled ...

"MagnaCarta II"

Of course I don't mind, just remember that these are all professional work under copyright to their titles.

The sheer sex appeal of the characters depicted in these games is amazing!!
Lets just say it really helped me on my decision of whether or not to purchase the game, Lol.
