Hello everyone. For a limited time, I will be taking ANY spriting request. That's right, whatever that sprite you've been wanting for your game is, now you can have it. It will be done within 3 days of the request time, and will be of very high quality (if you doubt this, check my spriting shrine). However, there is a catch. I am only taking a total of FIVE requests. AND it will be 5$ a sprite. Now that may sound like a lot, but think of how easy it is to make 5$. Would you rather hunt around for weeks trying to find someone to fill your request, or spend months honing your skills? Time is more valuable than money, so why waste it? 5$ is very reasonable.

slot four: OPEN
slot five: OPEN

Don't wait, this is the only time I'll be doing this. And you will be assured to receive the sprite on time, since i'm actually being paid for this (by you).

@game_guy, that should be fine, granted the request slots are still open. If this doesn't turn out to be too much efforts, I might keep doing paid requests. 5$ a sprite is a good deal!

np. I think I should be thanking you, after all, you're the one paying for my services. Those at ORG think my sprites are on the level of a n00b spriter. They say they're pillow shaded. (I think they don't know what pillow shaded means, as I keep it out of my sprites)

Well, if you want my honest opinion ...
I don't think of you as a noob spriter, but I don't think you're anywhere good enough to be doing commissions either ...

Your sprites have a certain pillow shade feel to them yes they do. They all have a metallic feel, because of your particular style. You don't shade the RTP way.

Because of this, they don't match the Standard RTP style, so I would never use any of them in my game, because I envy having everything consistent. This is why I do my own graphics, and never request any. I also have honed my skills to imitate the standard RTP as you know.

Of course this isn't my choice to make, it is the buyer's.

At any rate, good luck with this LB. I hope you earn a lump sum of xtra cash!!

I realized yesterday that I really DON'T shade according to the RTP style. This is due to the fact that the template i've been using isn't RTP as I thought it was. However, my metalic shading was based off of the RTP sprite "Fighter-04", so it is RTP style. However, somehow, it all comes out looking dif than the RTP, not sure why. and I am not sure where this pillow shade is, would you mind finding a few different examples in my sprites, and showing me? I'm dying to improve!

and I hope to get some extra cash too!

Pillow Shading


Look at Netheras. He is a good example. Look at his armor in specific. You will notice similarities in the rock and the way you did his armor. You pillow shade. Also, your assassin shows similar qualities.

But I think that style went out after it was a huge amount of work...Lots of these "game developers" are lazy.
