Title: Cold Fusion
Post by: Blizzard on July 28, 2009, 03:29:09 am
Download while it's hot (oh, the irony)! :D

Blizzard - Cold Fusion (5:33; 12.7 MB) (http://downloads.chaos-project.com/blizzmusic/Perfect%20Chaos/Blizzard%20-%20Cold%20Fusion.mp3)

It's 99% done. I probably have to remaster the intermezzo and maybe change two or three sections slightly.
When the download it gone, it's gone for good (remember me trying to get a publisher?). So get the song while you still can. :P

It deviates from my usual style a bit, but it still has a "Blizzard feeling" to it.

EDIT: It's done. I have changed the song significantly. <3

Lol, it's not called Fruity Loops anymore because Kellogg's sued them. Now it's FL Studio.

Liked the 2:54 and on part, but too repetitive for me (not something to take personally).

It reminds me a lot of Hell March.

Which is sad, because you don't really have a chance against Hell March (you're not a pro, no offense ><), so this song is kinda Blah. Still importing to iTunes, though.

It's more a transition between my usual style and Raw Power.

*revives old thread*

I have finished the song fully. I also changed the song significantly. It's basically the same structure with several edits. The melodies and notes used have been changed, though. >:3

Very nice. A bit repetitive, but probably less than most types of electronica.

Yeah. When I hear a good melody, I like it to repeat a few times because it's good. xD But I try to avoid too much repetition. On the other hand, the song's about 5:30 so some repetition can't be avoided. Too much variation would make the song seem inconsistent.

It'll take a while before that one appears on iTunes. My next album "Perfect Chaos" will have 12 songs and I have done only 3 so far (Absolute, Cold Fusion and Raw Power). In fact, this will probably be the playlist:

Perfect Chaos
Ecstase
Raw Power
Fields of Mirrors
Electrocuted
Cold Fusion
Ticket to Heaven
Chaotic Consistency
Hartschall
Absolute
Out of Order
Synthetic Dreams
