Title: [RMXP] Area specific damage
Post by: chessplayer on October 21, 2009, 06:21:55 am
Well, I am requesting a script to deal damage on a target depending on specific areas of the enemy.

I think this is a very interesting concept. I roughly have figured the outlines of the script but sadly I do not know Ruby enough.

What I want is to use the DBS but combine it with Blizz's Add-ons and Mouse Controller.

When targeting the enemy, clicking on certain parts of the body will deal more damage or increase chances of critical attack. Whereas certain parts deal lesser damage.

I thought the way to make it easily customizable is to include a silluote of the monster. Having certain areas colored with different colors. And when the user clicks the part of the monster, the program will look at the silluote and get its color. Damage will then be multiplied by a fixed set of conditions before damage is dealt.

I have prepared a picture but I am having problems getting it hosted. Maybe later. But I hope you get the picture. I think it would be an interesting concept, especially for people who just want to use the DBS with improvements.

Thank you.

As for the Mouse Controller, I will make a Blizz-ABS plugin that allows full usage of the mouse in Blizz-ABS.
