I'd like it more if the text was...more synced, yes? And maybe the transitioning between them all have a small wait. XD Other than that, it definitely sounds like a real game. I love it. Great job on this collaboration there, give them the credit they deserve. <3

The sound the dots made were annoying :^_^':

@kirby, there's no real way to sync it, at least with the resources I have for RMXP. I mean a single second of lagging would break the synchronization. I've seen non-synced text boxes in commercial games (tales of Symphonia anyone?), so it seems to be a common problem. And yah, I'll give them proper credit, almost all my cast is made up of amazing VAs (two of which do voice acting as a profession). Glad you liked it.

@Valcos, aye, I'm going to change that, lol.

Well maybe a better route for you to take would be to drop the one letter at a time feature.
Have the text box appear with all of the text at once, and wait for the speaking to finish, or like in most games, allow the user to skip the talking part along with the text, and move on to the next message.

Alright, I'll try it that way Calintz. That should help.

I'm not pushing, just suggesting.
I see that pattern used quite often in games like these. It works well.

...or you can do what I do and add subtitled text.

I have to give props to Reiver even though I hate his guts he started a weird trend of full screen facemaker graphics in RM Games.

And they look very good too.
This video was the first time I had witnessed that done.

@rose, aye, he did start the fullscreen face maker faces. But I improved it, making it so mine weren't pixelated (I used a different resizer script than the default photoshop ones). Not sure why you hate Reives though, he's awesome.

@calintz, some people are scared by the full screen face maker faces though o.o

Good to see you're still working on DR. The voice actors did a good job, they fit the characters very well.

Thanks deathlock. Glad you like it. And yup, still working on DR. The tilesets you made work really well.

I would have to say that I am definitely not scared.
I think that it's a wonderful feature, and you've done very well.
