That's a vector? Because to me, a vector is more like an easily resizable render due to the image being made up of geometric lines...

Regardless, that's pretty artistic. Are you using brushes?

I'm just trying to get the feel before I freehand it

These are very good. Yes, the second one does look better but I like the first because it feels more...unique?
Actually I don't know why I like the first one more...
anyways, good job =D

Those aren't really vectors...
Vectors are what Star said he thought they are.

Also...
Give credit where credit is due. (for the brushes and stuff)

I'll critique them later since it's getting late here.
I'll just say that I think the first one is better.

All you did was put brushes on in an artistic way.

Also, I remember these brushes. I have them. XD I just forgot where I got them from. It's a common site...erm...it has some sort of RPG-like Fantasy name in its URL.

What you're doing isn't vectoring, it's brush work.
If you want to vector (which is a great art form, I love it), then look into Adobe Illustrator.
There's a world of difference between brush work and actual vector art; mainly that actual vectors are a lot harder to do.

That being said, the wallpapers look nice.

Thanks NAM for the advice and compliment, and with the brushes I was just trying to get a feel for the attributes and characteristics, if you will, of vectors before I tried it free handed, like I said earlier

Right what I'm saying is that vector art is usually nothing like what you're doing right now.
You're not getting a 'feel' for vector art, you're getting a feel for brush work.

Lol nicely put Calintz

@ NAM: Oh ok I see know :)

I'll just start working on it free hand before the brushes become a crutch
