I love customizing Windows, it's really the only reason (besides games, lack of money, and lack of desire to use linux) that I use it, but one thing is really pissing me off.
I can regedit and change folder icons easy enough, and they look good, and I do some more work and could change all the icons to the ones I want, yeah easy enough.
Problem: when I go to file>open in any program, it shows the default icons.
seriously?
I went through all the trouble to change them and they -don't- change?
Anyone know of any solutions to this? As of now I just reverted all of my changes, as I dislike a lack of uniformity with my settings.
