Title: mysql help please[resolved - thank you]
Post by: zane203 on February 20, 2010, 04:41:05 pm
ok well im following the rmx-os tut and im at the point with the mysql

the problem is while setting up the 2nd half of it, b4 you make the new password, my brother got the circuit fuse blown. -- my computer shut off

after getting the power back on i started it back up and started the process over once more.

when i get to the password part, it asks for a "current" password... but i never set one, so i tried leaving the current blank, i've tried having it root, but neither one worked =/

Help?

It shouldn't, by any means; it only contains the information you entered when you set up the MySQL server, so it should solve your problem.
