Hello,
if someone could help me I would like a script for Blizz Mouse controller that has a path-find location, so, when you click with the mouse in certain place your character will move in that direction, also, when you click it should recognize events premeditating what would be the final action and refreshing a new action if you click again, like, going to that place to accomplish some action: hitting an enemy, examine the objects, open treasure chest, etc.
The main idea is to create a game like those of riddle solving from LucasArts(The Curse of the Monkey Island, Full Throttle, etc). In fact in those games it would open a small menu where you choose which action you want to accomplish, I can solve this by making the event active when you use your item on that, use your weapon, or use your skill, so I will not need this menu. There are 3 mouse buttons, one is for attack/move, the other ones would be use item/move and use skill/move, (of course i will change their names and sprite action). Also, if possible, the player can preset (by keyboard) if he wants to run to all objectives, walk, or sneak, those creating more possibilities of interaction toward the event or different damage to an enemy. The events should recognize if the hero is walking, sneaking or running at least.
I'm currently using Blizz ABS Modifications together with Tons of Add-Ons, Mouse Controller and change weapons system. I'm currently drawing all the game char sets and title sets, but this would be an in-must for the game system. I'm using RPG Maker XP, of course.
QuoteIf you mean point-click-walk, no. This script is more of a tool to develop something else using it than an actually useful standalone script, but it can be used separately.
That is a quote by Blizzard in the "Mouse Controller" post.
The script really was designed to be used like that.
I know I sure as hell have no idea how to do it. Good luck, though.
