There's this weird thing that I've started noticing recently about myself (although it's been happening for years):
Whenever I'm thinking really hard or really fast, like when I'm working on a project, taking a test, playing some intense starcraft, or coding something complex, I get really physically hot. I mean hot to the touch. Sometimes, my face and/or ears turn bright red. It's mostly my upper torso and my head that overheats (my lower torso and legs are fine).
Does anybody else do this?
Oh, that simply means that you are too stupid to do the task you're trying to do. :D
Seriously, nope, I don't. I actually rather get cold when I concentrate, though I always had that. xD But I know some people who have that, so it's probably nothing to worry about.
Hmm. I can't recall that ever happening to me. It's possible you're just a special case. If you're really concerned about it, I'm sure a doctor could tell you exactly what's happening, but if it were me, I wouldn't care enough to schedule an appointment.
Nah, I'm not concerned about it. I have good temperature tolerance anyways, probably from playing soccer in the sun without water breaks all my whole childhood.
And both my parents are physicians, but they aren't specialists, so they didn't really have a clue. From the basics that I understand, it could be that rapidly firing synapses greatly increase the temperature in the brain, and then it transfers heat to the blood to cool itself, and the blood heats the surrounding tissue on it's way back to the heart. Maybe it's the radiation from the brain that heats the surrounding area. Since the brain is giving off energy, it would stay relatively cool, while the surrounding tissue would warm up quite a bit.
I don't know, they are just random theories. I want to find somebody else that does it though.

Anyway, I never experienced something like that. Though I did experience increased sweating in moments of high concentration due to increased body temperature (not as high as you seem to get). Maybe this is the problem. O_o Or maybe yours is just a little bit extreme case.

Now serious. I have that sometimes but it only happens when I'm excited bout something. :D
