;D Hello guys....well i have a request... Somebody haves a Map Script that shows a Geographic Map in the screen when i call a common event and in this Map show tha name of the places..... something like the Map on Pokemon? :-\

HEY!!! Thank you very much!!! 8)
Blizzard uses that function doesn't he?? I could've swore I saw names in CP...
I believe this is in ToAO's as well.
And yes, it is. It's in the graphic add-ons, called "Location Names."
Location Names is different, it shows the location of the map you are entering, not the locations you will enter.
This is similar to Chrono Trigger, isn't it? I made a demo how to do that with events LONG ago when I was active on RMRK, IDK if it's still there somewhere.
Lexima or Star Ocean, one of those I think.
I'm just sure the text on the actual map wasn't from CT lol. Anyway, if you want the text to just appear directly on the map like you were a little cartographer walking across it then simply edit a tileset to have the names on chunks of land. It'll save you a heap of trouble in the long run, though it's not easy to edit so make sure you got the right names before you start.
Lexima?! O_o
No, the map's not from CT, only the system is.
I just remember Lexima from a LONG time ago when the SNES was still a popular system.
I'm personally in favor of the return of 2D graphics, there's a charm with them that 3-D will never truely be able to duplicate. Maybe it was Star Ocean I'm thinking of with the text names directly on the map, I've seen it before somewhere but I just can't remember where. Kid Icarus is always a possibility too. Arg ???
Crap, I thought the term Lexima wasn't used in a game before. <_<;

Anyway, I'm still gonna use it.
It was a bit on the vague side for RPGs, and it might be Lexama, not Lexima
Curse me and my infernal memory!
I actually DO remember a very similar name of a game like that, but I think it wasn't Lexima.
I might be remembering Lufia 2's Maxim and just combining the two names in my head...
The more I look into it the less I find so I think I'm wrong on here. It's weird because I could have sworn to the grave that there was a game that at least started with Lex.
But anyway, I'm glad to get that resolved, now for some The Legend of Lexima goodness :D
Same with me. I also think the game's name started with a Lex.
Anyway, back on topic. #_#
