im a spriter, but have to learn a lot.

You are already awesome. I seriously don't see too much room for improvement on that one. oO I love it.
You're my main spriter for a reason :D

And that means a lot cuz sub always sees improvement in things  :P

But yeah that sprite is good  :)

things on the corners seem off to me...  flat and not part of the fountian.

The top of the table is pretty good, though the shading makes it look kinda like it's made out of clay. I'd lower the contrast, or not have as large of blogs of your lightest color. Break them up in a sort of dither-looking shading method (check out some of the wood in the RTP). And the bottom of the table looks like a cross, rather than legs of a table. Something about the perspective of them is off.

You're pretty good at pixel art, I'm impressed. It just needs a tad more touching up.
