Post by: Futendra on January 06, 2011, 05:15:46 am
Where can you find good music?

I'm using stuff like Audiomachine, Two Steps From Hell,Takanashi Yasuharu

But I need more In-Game music, as My RTP only is running out XD

Here's an idea: Make your own music, and be original. It's fun, man, try it. ;)

Holy fuck why did nobody mention Newgrounds audio portal. What was it made for again? Right. Provide music for non-commercial games, movies, etc. and has a wide varity of music for every genre you can imagine. That seems to be exactly like what you are looking for...
Oh, and I'm there, too.

Aha tought you would do that ^^

Well, That is because I am learning Ruby ;)

Of course RMXP isn't all about ruby, but i'm trying to figure ruby out....

Making music takes alot longer then trying to edit scripts, then trying to make them yourself, then gettin errors, trying to fix, and playing...

But sure, ignore the helpful suggestions and converse with the trolls. That'll sure solve your problem.

If you're not planning on having anyone play the game or selling it, it doesn't matter if you use music from BlueLaguna or KHInsider.

Newgrounds can always suffer from Sturgeon's Law; "90% of everything is absolutely crud.". Of course, if you find "10%", you'll probably hit a gold mine. There's some great artists on Newgrounds, you just have to go through the junk first. ;)

The percentage of good music on newgrounds is pretty high, actually - and there's that nice ranking system. If a song is in the top 30 and older than a few months, it's good. That's how easy it is :P

Their music player is nice, the effects like the tank on the mountains, its very relaxing to look at. *watches the player over and over again. BEAUTIFULL!*
