Title: Guild vs. Guild Minigame
Post by: Noob on January 07, 2011, 10:12:58 pm
Hey, I think it would be cool to have a RMX-OS add on where two guilds fight each other. Things it would be able to do:
1. Chat command for "challenging" another guild.
2. Can configure kill limits for guild battles.
3. Can configure what happens upon challeng (transfered to another map, etc.)
4. Can configure a special respawn point for players killed in guild battles.
That's all ;)! The scripts I'd be using with it:
Default RMXP scripts, RMX-OS, Blizz-ABS (and its RMX-OS plugin).

I think the reason people are so hesitant to sign on to assist you in your scripts is that you seem to be demanding quite a few different systems and offering nothing in return. While that isn't a problem in and of itself, people might be a little more willing to help you if you provide a little incentive for helping you with such an extensive project (meaning all of the scripts you're requesting.) You could offer a skill of your own in return, such as mapping or spriting.

Another option would be learning to script and doing these systems yourself - most of the seem fairly easy, and RGSS isn't much hassle to pick up. I'm in the process of learning it myself, as a matter of fact, and once you get the syntax down, it's quite simple.
