Title: Video Player Help?
Post by: GAX on April 29, 2008, 02:18:24 am
Alright, here's where I'm in a predicamine...
I help run an Anime Club at my school, and I wanna show Rebuild of Evangelion 1.01, but I need something...
I need a way to play a video with a subtitle file, but at the same time I need to be able to set it so specific parts of the movie wont be shown (curse censorship in schools).

Anyone know how I can do this?

I presonally use PowerDVD and I recommend it. I'm not sure if you can leave out parts of a video, though. It might work with a DVD format movie which has some special settings to skip scenes or parts of scenes. In fact, I'm not even sure if something like this is possible. =/ Maybe your best choice is to cut the video yourself with a video editing program.

Know any good/free programs that can merge a subtitle file (.srt I think) with an AVI?
