Before you continue reading, know that reading this will spoil you a scene right before the last boss in Chaos Project. This entire topic is one big spoiler since it reveals a few details about the game which you are not supposed to know yet. Once again: THIS TOPIC IS A VERY BIG SPOILER! You have been warned. Can you resist the temptation? :P
Alright, this idea was born when I first saw the custom battler graphics of the bunny woman on some resource site. Of course, the idea is a battle against bunny. First I had an idea about a side-quest, but I didn't work on it. Later I thought it could be an optional boss right before the last boss, but this idea wasn't that interesting as well, so I stopped thinking about it. When shdwlink1993 sent me a few PMs through a couple of days ago and fixing the grammar in CP, he mentioned something about Bunny "is always there" when you need her and how she has no life. I mentioned my most recent idea and he replied if I was serious about this. He said that it would be a great idea. "Savepoints that hate you", that's what he said. Yesterday, when I was working on CP a little bit and trying to put a quick reference plotline together for the last 40% of the game using some older notes, I've had another interesting idea which could work out for this case very well. I thought that I should post it. I find the idea so awesome that I simply can't wait for me to finish the game and you to play it up to the last boss fight to see it.
If you are reading this, I assume that you ignored my warning from above. Alright, this is as far as you get without major spoiling. You are very brave to kept on reading. :P You've read about my idea and this is just a minor spoiler, now you can stop reading. No? You want to continue reading? Then open the spoiler at your own risk.
Casting and referals:
Jason - You know that guy.

Endout - Him, too.

Leximus - Jason's alter ego from former times. Jason is Leximus reborn.
Aiden - She joins the party on the other planet, Kadro, nothing else will be revealed here.
Starker - He joins the party right after Jason gets the Soul Blade on Kadro. I'm not sure about how his personality will be like and if I will really name him Starker, but for now it looks like he will be a 100% serious guy.
Silvery - She's a Lexima Warrior. Leximus and Silvery were the first Lexima Warriors to feel "love". The details about this plot are very complicated, so I will not explain it here.
Nemesis - He's the main antagonist; Nemesis is not his real name, it will never be revealed.
Rivy - One of Nemesis men, nothing else will be revealed as its not important for this scene.
Faberell - One of Nemesis men, nothing else will be revealed.
Searphine - She's with Nemesis as well.
This scene happens right before the last fight against Nemesis. Bunny will approach you and save your game. When you continue your way through the room, Bunny will shout from the behind: "Stop right there!" When everybody turns around... "I'm over here." Everybody turns to the front again, it's Bunny...
Quote
Jason: "Bunny? What's wrong?"
Bunny: "This is as far as you get."
Endout: "I think I don't understand..."
Bunny: "I'll show you!"
Bunny transforms... It's Seraphine!
Jason: "No way..."
Endout: "But... you've been saving our game all this time..."
Seraphine: "I've been spying on you all along, imbeciles."
Aiden: "And reporting to Nemesis all the time... Oh no..."
Jason: "But why?!"
Seraphine: "Because of you, Leximus. You broke my heart... I loved you, but you chose Silvery over me!"
Jason: "Oh great... I'm gonna get killed by a ferocious woman with a broken heart. It's 2 million years ago, get over it."
Endout: "*snickers*"
Seraphine: "In fact, I've been waiting for this very moment all those years."
Jason: "But wait... Rivy told us that Nemesis thought we were dead. If you have been reporting to him and..."
Seraphine: "I don't care about Nemesis. All I want is you. I haven't been spying for him, I have been spying for myself."
Jason: "Why didn't you try to kill me earlier then?"
Seraphine: "Very simple. I have waited for Chaos to awaken so I can make you suffer as much as possible. I want to kill you with all my power..."
Jason: "I got much stronger since the last time. I'm not so sure if you are able to defeat me."
Seraphine: "It may be true that you got stronger, but you are not at your full strength. Nemesis' blocking of your soul memory is preventing you from that."
Jason: "I'd still say that you are no match for us."
Seraphine: "I'm not as weak as Faberell. And I will fight with full power from the beginning on."
Jason: "But still. We've beaten you the last time with ease."
Seraphine: "You don't get it, do you? I was just testing how strong you've gotten. You weren't even close to my power then and you still aren't."
Jason: "Can't this wait? I have a universe to save, you know. In fact it's not just one, it's all 4.3 billions of them. You can try to kill me after everybody else is safe."
Seraphine: "I don't care about Nemesis and I don't care about the universes. All I want is you to suffer. I don't just want to kill you, I want to humiliate you and I want you to lose what is most precious to you. At this moment the thing most precious to you is saving the universes."
Jason: "I'm speechless."
Aiden: "*snickers*"
Seraphine: "Exactly that is my intention. It is to silence you for eternity."
Jason: "And you still have that weird way of talking?
Endout: "*snickers more loudly*"
Seraphine: "Grrr..."
Jason: "Did you ever consider this being the reason that I chose Silvery over you?"
Aiden: "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Seraphine: "Grrr..."
Jason: "OH SHIT! She's getting angry, guys! I bet that she is able to use the "Broken Heart" ability. Oh my god, she might try to pull off a "I can't get over it" as well!"
Starker: "If I had humor, I would certainly find this funny."
Seraphine: "Grrr... This time I will fight with full strength, whatever you expect that to be."
Jason: "Oh my god, you've been holding back?! I am so surprised! I totally didn't see this coming! Maybe you still have enough love for me in your heart not to kill me in the end! Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!"
Aiden & Endout: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Starker: "*grins*"
Seraphine: "That's quite enough!!!"
Seraphine transforms.
Jason: "Bring it on, baby!" (either when the battle starts or right before it starts)
Then comes the battle. Afterwards all Bunnies are exchanged for a different save point. The last Teleport command "Last Encounter" will be unlocked and you are able to return here anytime to battle the last boss.
I, personally, have never seen such a hilarious scene before the last boss fight. Usually everybody is totally serious and expecting the last boss for a badasss performance. I'm sometimes so into the game that my hands are shaking, I almost feel the nervousity that the characters are supposed to have. Also, making the last boss transform a couple of times and making you fight him in every possible form is a bit cliché. But on the other side more than one battle against the "last boss" would be good to have. And how many times did you wish that you could save and maybe even go back after you have beaten every except the final form of the last boss? With this extra plot I have accomplished it all:
- You have more than "one form" of the last boss.
- You can save before engaging the "final form" of the last boss and even go back.
- Hilarious scene before the last battle to lighten up the player.
- Completely original: Savepoints that hate you. xD
What do you think of this? I simply love the idea.
Oh... my... gosh...
He quoted me word for word! :o :o :o
No, I'm kidding. This is a great idea. I was wondering if there was another Searphine fight after the one in the woods, but I wasn't expecting anything like this. Holy ****, you're good at making plot twists. Even though Jason is being a jerk, it still is perfect right before a final boss for some humor.
And as for the alternate save points, you already have used something that would work (Leximus's trip through the ToM)
Yeah, but I'm not going to use that save system. It's only supposed to give a "THIS IS NOT LEXIMA 4" feeling, lol!
Jason's being a jerk, that's true, but don't you think he's right? I mean c'mon, 2 million years?! xD
Dude. This SO deserves to be in the final. Two thumbs and a toe up!
I say, I like it. It puts in a new twist in the end!!!!!
& that way, one can enjoy killing Nemesis's Forms every time again ;p
There'll be only one form, lol!
Bump. :3
This idea is good...however, I have played an RPG Maker 2000 that uses a Savepoint-that-hates-you mechanism. And it is related to the storyline very much, since it becomes a boss eventually. It was...I can't remember the name something along the lines of, "The Stupidest Game Ever Made". It's on my old computer...Not that shabby of a game, it is very humorous. Anyway, enough with that, just because one game uses it doesn't mean it's unoriginal. I'm for this idea, since...Yeah, she does have no life. :/
