Chaos Project

im requesting a script that is a new custom battle system. i am open to ideas and will greatly appreciate someone to take on this challeng. ok so my ideas are:

• a side view battle system


• a grid in the middle of the screen that is 5 acroos by how ever many people there are in the party


• i want there to now be 3 bars so i want there to be a hp bar a magic bar and an ap bar


• each attack the player does uses a certain amount of ap and if it uses mp then that gets taken away too


• you have the option to move forwards or backwards on the grid. the point of this is the closer you get to the enemy the more damage it can do to you but the more damage you can do to it.


• when your ap bar runs out you have to wait 1 turn and then you gain all of your ap back. during this turn you cannot do anything.


• when you level up your ap also increases

if you require more information please message me i will be glad to cover gaps i have left. i will of course give the person/persons who help credit for this and all i need help with is the scripting part as i cannot script. i can provide you with all of the graphics you need.

Welcome to the forums atom...Noticed your name recently registered but because of Chaos Project's downtime I easily understand why you aren't talking much. Looking at the screenshot, in my opinion, it works much easier if the grid can be isometric (It'll look prettier, either that or the horizontal grid there is just really procrastinated). If not, then the side view battle system should be replaced with isometricism. Of course, that'll easily make it harder to script. I'm a not a scripter, but this can be hard...Best of luck to you finding someone, not implying no one will come.

thanx for the idea Starrodkirby i will get around to do a final screenshot one day and your idea is definately going to be incorporated. i knew soemhting about the grid wasnt right but i couldnt figure out what. thanx again
