Does anyone know another script that can help create a battle tutorial or how to do it with events? I'm using CRLS, so I'm sure the players will need help of some sort. Maybe when I finish, I'll post it up in the events system so others can use it.

Maybe. I only started using RPG XP for about a month. >_> I'll try and figure out how to use variables, though I'm kinda clueless.

I really don't understand this. I've tried quite hard to figure it out. Could someone give a small step by step in exactly what to put in the "Call Script" and how to use it for a tutorial in RPG XP?

Alternate Teleporting Events

Introduction
I'm rather surprised nobody created an event like this. These events will teleport the character to a black screen and show a walking animation, kinda like when changing screens in metroid (but shows the character, not the door). Does NOT work well with Caterpillar script (unless with a few modifications) and Black Fade (in Blizz's Tons of Addons) for map changes.

Features

• Shows a pretty nifty animation when changing maps
  
• Not recommended if you use Caterpillar or Blade Fade scripts. (At least for the maps you use it for)

Instructions

This actually might've been easier to put in a script. >_> Oh well.
1. Create an event that'll teleport the hero to a complete blank map, make the map either horizontally long or vertically long. Also, get rid of the hero graphic. Right after you teleport the hero.
2. Teleport the hero to the bottom of the screen if you want to show the hero moving up, and vise versa. For moving left, teleport the hero all the way to the right of the blank map, same for the opposite.
3. Create an event that has the same graphics as the hero and turn moving animation on. Don't move the event however.
4. Scroll the map in the same direction the event is facing, using whatever speed you prefer and also use the "wait" command (so you don't teleport instantly).
5. Change the hero graphic back and teleport your hero to where you want.

...It's rather confusing, just download the demo.

Don't be alarmed at the number of maps. I could've only used 4 extra maps. I just made more. :3

Title says all. How do you perform skills with 2 or more battlers and make a separate section in the battle menu, like in Blizzard's Chaos Project?  What would you use in CRLS/Addons? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, it's pretty much what Aqua said, I downloaded it and saw the new game there (Wtf? Cathedral?). I guess I'll re-upload it later today, since the scripts are on my home computer and I'm away atm.

My project isn't working very well. I just want RTAB, and CRLS to be working together. I put them in the right order, so I have no idea what the problem is.

I took off Seph's Slant Bar and set DRAW_SR_BAR to true. Also, I turned on the Bars in Tons of Addons.

Same error. >_> It's in that download I put up.

Edit:
I tossed the Tons of Addons and RTAB onto your Chaos Rage Limit System Demo that you posted up. o_o The exact same error popped up, even though I turned Bars ON and in CRLS, I turned the RTAB feature on too.

Can someone just please post up a demo of a project that works with Addons, CRLS, and a RTAB script? I can work off of that. >_> Thank you in advance if you help me.

Well, I tried removing the slant bars. But then, this message popped up again.



Something is happening that's preventing all these things:
Selecting a Soul Rage or Soul Limit skill (probably a Chaos Rage skill too, but I disabled that)
Attacking with any character
Letting the ENEMY attack
And if I remove the slant bars by SephirothSpawn, I can't even go into a battle at all!

If any of the above happens, my game crashes.

I put RTAB above the others, like you said in that topic, but I can't see a Rage Bar or any bars or numbers, despite I used Slant Bars. What am I doing wrong? X_x

I think he means use an event where you change the hero's graphic. If you do that, you can select your hero and remove the sprites of him moving on the map, so he'll just be "gone". Then once the event is over, you can change the graphic to put his sprite back on and he'll reappear.
