[XP] Problem with Message Choice Window script

Hello, I am using this script which was the only one I found that makes choices inside the actual message box: Link

I followed the instructions and it's working well, though when It's time to select the message, the index (in other words, the option selected always appear selecting the second option instead of the first), example:

(it would be better if the cursor started on first option)

Not only this but when I press the directional buttons (up and down) to choose, if I press down, it goes up. if I press up it goes down...
I tried to mess in the script with the few I know but I still dont know how to fix it

What other scripts are you using? Because this script doesn't have anything that would effect that :s
