Hello,

I am currently studying Mixed Media and am experimenting with noise and sound. I am trying to find cheap but effective sources of sound. It can be anything. From some kind of microphone to a sequencer is fine. If you have no idea about the scene there is this documentary that should give you a good overview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGrN6PeIiOU (If you are a person that listens to the radio every day, please feel free to watch!)

So here is my question to the crowd:
Do you know of any cheap but effective way to produce, manipulate or crush sound?

The permanent solution for your problem would be to stop hanging out with stupid people.

Well that's really neat.

I can't speak much to live performance.

I only ever work on my desktop.
