That would be Blizz's font effects, which slow the game down to a crawl if RMXP doesn't like your comp. He needs to add an option to disable effects like that IMO

What special effects? Shadow behind the text? Don't make me laugh. And why is nobody else having that problem? And why is FTS having that problem while being on the map where absolutely no text is being displayed? -_-

I mentioned "Audio" too.

When I played CP in VBox/Win7, the text effects/window effects/audio killed the FPS (~20 on almost everything). It wasn't the only factor, but there was a significant drop when a window came up.

Believe it or not, but I got 41 FPS today on CP. Yes, 41. Too bad I wasn't fast enough to screenshot it. It would've been awesome.

Technically seen absolutely everything uses CPU. Some things more, others less. But audio isn't really an issue. If I can get in a widely event-populated map like Luvia market over 30 FPS by using Blizz-ABSEAL 3 playing an .ogg file, I'd pretty much say something else is the issue. And I don't have the best PC either.

I wish I can, really. The game won't work on my computor because of a font script (That I have to remove with rmxp, which I don't have anymore). And I can't redownload it because my mom doesn't want any more games on her computor.

If it was only the font problem, you could have simply remove the font installer from CP and installed the fonts manually.
